Starlite Budget Inn

They did not sweep the floor in the room. There was stems from grapes on the floor and it was dirty

Internet and TV were very intermittent. Couldn't do anything on computer or watch a complete show on TV. Expedia said breakfast included, but they said that no one does that in the area. Swimming pool was so green that you couldn't see the bottom. They had excuses. Electrical either didn't work, or was old. No ground fault in toilet area. Non grounded outlets all over room. Only value was the low price and close to downtown.

No check in on site. Had to go to a different motel to check in. Room smelled bad. Looked dirty. There was no chain lock on the door. Next door neighbors were outside smoking our door smoking weed.

This is a good place to stay when somebody is trying to go for Mackinac Island. It's a place where you can stay overnight and go next day morning

Room was decent,bathroom tub/shower area needs improvement. A/C to small for unit

Only the convenience of the location.

Everything about the Motel was horrible. From the service to the room. TV didn't work, reported ot and they did NOTHING, AC barely had any cool coming out.

We got there and they refuse to let us check in before 4pm so at 4 pm a lot of people were there to check in. TV was not working. Had to call twice before it could be fixed. They got it working but said the was a loose wire on the cable box.

They never serviced the room during the three days. I half expected it, given the price. Clean towels would've been nice.
