Artemis Suites

My wife and I received numerous emails from the manager at Artemis Suites welcoming us and giving us lots of information prior to our arrival. We requested for a taxi to pick us up. When we arrived, the cab/attendee was not there so got another cab. While on the way to the hotel, our cab driver got a call and our original cab driver to apologize for not being there and that the hotel would pay for our cab. This hotel is a wonderful one, the rooms are kinda small. The views are amazing, the staff are amazing Nikki (at the reception), Joann (at the bar) and Silvio (bell hop) made our stay memorable. Megalochori is a small city but a wonderful one. We rented atv's for our whole trip there and it was so worth it. Our departure flight was late in the day, we checked out of the hotel but the hotel let us keep our bags and we were able to do more stuff in Santorini. We also got towels to take to the beach. How awesome!!!

The staff is extremely friendly. The view from hotel is unforgettable. The restaurant has limited variety and the breakfast is average. Better to have a car to visit all locations cause the hotel is far from the center

wonderful place to stay

The service in this hotel was amazing due to one employee named Jason! He was absolutely wonderful, he made sure we appreciated his greek culture and helped us enjoy the trip even after we checked out of the NChotel. The location of the hotel was very beautiful, it was on a cliff which gives you the ultimate view of the ocean and sunsets. Given the price of 275 dollars per night I would expect little more. There was rust all over the pool chairs and pool rail. Bathroom was too small and could not be used to shower properly let alone to stand in, there were light bulbs missing from the reading lights on the wall. The worst part of all, the screws were missing on door handle in bathroom and the door would not shut. I booked a room which said sea view, the only view i had from my window was the sheets drying outside. The hotel faced ocean, if i left the front door open while i laid in bed i would see this view. Seemed to be false advertisment to me! Would not recomend! Go to Kamari Beach to IRINIS HOTEL ask for KIKI.

We stayed just one night at Arthemis Suites. It has excellent view for caldera and you can enjoy the pool seeing the great view. There was open shower and Jacuzzi which would be convenient for those who like swimming. Location is a bit apart from the main area like Fira and Oia, so it was very calm and could be completely relaxed on the sunbed. Need to drive around 10~15 min. to the main areas. Room is not necessarily spacy but just good for the two with 2 big luggage bags. Clean bathroom and the hair dryer works good. Cafeteria provides not only breakfast but lunch and dinner with extra charge. If you stay here, you may visit winery nearby and the light house in the bottom side of santorini. I recommend this hotel for family, couple rather than freinds that want calmness and separate space.

My wife and I had a wonderful 4 night stay at Artermis with our two teens. Our rooms were a clean and comfortable refuge after a busy day of Santorini activities that the friendly and well informed staff had helped us organise. We enjoyed having the choice of dining from the delicious menu at the Artemis restaurant and our close proximity to the very good restaurants in nearby Megalochori.

Everything was nice except for the stuck shower drain. The bathroom flooded every time we took a shower. We told the hotel staff on the day of arrival, but it was never fixed.

Very enjoyable in the hotel. Sadly not much chance to stroll around the area. It is good that the hotel offers everything you need.

Artemis Suites is a nice location is you want to avoid staying with the crowds in Oia and Fira. There is a nice square within walking distance, but you will need a car to get around the island beyond that. The staff are very nice and are willing to go above and beyond. We had the most fantastic boat tour suggested by the man working the front desk. He also helped us plan our days, which was great. The downsides are that the front desk is only staffed beginning at 8 am, which made it very difficult when we had to check out for an early flight. We had additional charges that we were not able to pay for, as they do not have a system in place to keep a credit card on file. I have never experienced this at a hotel before. Also, the room was extremely outdated and the facilities and fixtures were not up to par. The shower had excessive mold in the grout and the toilet did not work well. I actually resorted to using the pool showers and toilet that had been updated recently. Those were wonderful! The community areas such as the pool and grounds were very nice, but the room we stayed in could definitely use an overhaul. Luckily while on vacation, you don't spend much time in the room. I didn't feel this room was worth the high price tag. I would consider this hotel again if the rooms were remodeled and the facilities updated.
