Hotel Riu Palace Punta Cana - All Inclusive

Entertainment could be better. Not impressed with the cleanliness of our room. Food was what I expected. Overall, it was an average all inclusive. I've stayed at 2 different Riu resorts. One was a palace and one was not.....not seeing the difference.

Great place, beach is beautiful but just one big and one small pool so not much there. Food was good in the buffets. don’t waste time with restaurants except Krtystal and Bordega as the rest were absolutely bad specially the Japanese restaurant-horrible food and horrible service. Buffet service was great, poolside drinks service is good but they water down the drinks which you notice if you get the same drink from the bar so save your tips and make a trip to the bar. All staff were really good. Rooms need real upgrades. Broken drawers, broken showers heads and cockroaches so be careful when you pack and when you unpack so have not brought back any with you. Room service was mediocre as the advertised 24 hr is basically three items available in snacks and desert which are nothing to write about make a trip to the all night sports bar if you are hungry

Beautiful resort, spotless rooms, and an amazing beach. The staff was friendly and attentive, the food was delicious with great variety, and the entertainment was fun and well organized. Perfect balance of relaxation and luxury. Highly recommend!

Such a beautiful place to stay in Punta Cana if you are ever thinking about coming to the DR. My family and I loved it here!! Great Customer Service from Max, Luis, and Yessica at the front desk. To Saul at the Customer service desk, all the way to our fabulous hosts Linard and Jose who served us daily for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. We will definitely be returning in the future!!

The personnels are super polite always ready to help you, the room is always clean, the pools super clean, the beach well groom, the only thing is the food was not as good as last year.

The room had only one working electrical outlet, which forced us to make coffee in the bathroom. The TV did not work, and despite asking three different staff members on three separate days to send someone to fix it, no one ever came. The room was old and dated, had an unpleasant smell, peeling paint, and there were no washcloths provided. Beware of no-see-um bites—I was covered in welts after two days on site, and there was no relief without paying hundreds of dollars to see a doctor.

A lot of negative reviews when you look it up. It wasn’t an awful stay but it definitely isn’t a 5 star resort like we are used to. Service by the pools are meh. Bathrooms could use a bathroom fan. Clean resort overall. Buffett had a good selection. Restaurant selection were minimal but yummy. Bring phone for menus! WiFi spotty at times. Staff nice. There was not much for little kids to do other than swimming. Disappointed with the water park and the long walk. Expected a quick meeting when we checked in but given a poor paper map.

Food, drinks, service and entertainment was great. Be away of the time share scam from airport Legendary Vacation Club and Hard Rock. Never pay Mike $60 USD to secure your reservation. In general, Riu hotel and resort is great and clean. Beach is beautiful. People who work there are very nice. The party vibe is strong here. Many thanks to Riu Palace Punta Cana. We will be back soon.

I found that the hotel was clean but the staff was just ok but sometimes very short and not helpful. The food was not enjoyable. Very very salty and not what we were used to on a previous trip. The entertainment was nonexistent. I would have been nice to hang out in the stage and enjoying some sort of entertainment like there was our previous trip.
