Hotel Riu Palace Punta Cana - All Inclusive

Hola! My husband and I visited here 1st time & to celebrate our milestone anniversary & we loved it. The food selection was good though could use some variety and in offering some multicultural foods (Indian, Arabic cuisine). Also, we were only able to enjoy mangoes a couple of days, and thereafter didn't get any during bfast or lunch or dinner times, but besides that we have no complaints. The service is outstanding, the staff excellent & always happy to help/accommodate & to make us happy & comfortable. The entertainment staff does a really fantastic job at interacting with their guests and keeping us all entertained all day. We'd like to give a big shout out to Manuel at reception, who was kind enough to put us on a top floor (instead of ground), as well as walked us through the basic details of what's where at the resort. Tatiana at the buffet breakfast & lunch area was always pleasant welcoming, with a smile on her face and even wished us a good flight, when we mentioned we were leaving that afternoon. Oliver (Olve) at the pool area (larger pool) was exceptional & very kind & pleasant too. Took good care of our drink orders daily, with ease & professionalism. He also spoke English very well & that did impress us, as most others weren't as well versed with being bilingual. Our room was quite nice, comfortable though we found the bed mattress a. It hard/firm, as well as we had to request for an extra blanket, as it got cold in the room. We did miss seeing bath robes in our rooms too. Also, it would have been nice to have the TV mount movable, so we could also turn it towards the living area and watch it just as well when sitting on the couch. As well, I felt there wasn't much of a selection of English channels & I spent a big chunk of my time switching channels to find something nice to watch when in the room. We also had an incident, where the elevator stopped working (when the power went out for a bit) & there were some people stuck, banging on the elevator door. It took the maintenance staff about 10 minutes or so before they were able to force open the doors & get them out. In such instances & because of the extreme heat there, it would be nice to have a generator and for emergencies as such, as well as it would be beneficial to install small fans in the elevators, which will at least help with some air circulation, as it is already very small & one can feel claustrophobic. Overall, we had an amazing time & will surely plan to come again. Gracias!

Pros: staff , food, drinks, entertainment, and environment were great Cons: toilet was leaking, shower water smelled (filter problem), AC wasn't stable at night time

The hotel is amazing, rooms are new very well maintained.. Food is excellent.. Try the Asian restaurant a la carte... Beach is nice and lots of daily activities near the pools... I recommend this hotel....

natural circumstances, fauna & flora, beautiful a decent hotel but very average for the Riu Chain, most things need to be renewed maximum rating is poor 4

Great hotel! Service is very good! Rooms little dated but ok. Some rooms smell. Buffet is excellent, many choices. Restaurants disappointed.

After checking in we had to change rooms, toilet issues. The one thing that was annoying was the fire alarms going off randomly, once in the early morning. Everything was good accept The Bondega restaurant. Food was not good there. Staff was amazing.

We combined a hotel stay with a white party and a pink party. The restaurants' themed are fabulous for those of us who enjoy unique dining experiences. There's so much to do and try in one place that 6 days isn't enough to experience everything.

We’ve been before for an adult only wedding and couldn’t wait to go with our family (6 and 9). The waterpark wasn’t just for kids and had some amazing slides. We got to enjoy all the restaurants and liked something at all of them, such as the appetizers at the Italian restaurant and over all the Japanese was our favorite. Zorri and Kendy took care of all of us at the pool and shows after dinner, the kids enjoyed pina coladas and banana smoothies. They always came over to say hi and made us feel welcome. We enjoyed the activities during the day with Isiah like the water aerobics, darts, and pool games. The kids enjoyed Riuland with Emanuel, he was so good with the kids and by the middle of the trip they’d go off to their activities by themselves and couldn’t wait to join him on stage at night. The only advice I have is to bring your own water bottle for drinks and water proof bug spray and itch cream. We enjoyed our trip very much and will be back!

I stayed in this hotel for my birthday and even though the weather started off rainy, there was so much to do in the hotel to keep us entertained. The only feedback I have is the hotel should offer a shuttle to the gate as I had to pay for uber to the gate each time. Also the bedding was very thin and a blanket is provided for the colder nights but it would be good to have a duvet when it's colder rather than just a blanket.

love the place, waiting for the next visit with family. I love the beach, pool and foods..specially I love the breakfast
