It was 3 bedrooms and plenty of space

It was very tired and needs to be refurbished it could do with a little better cleaning

Location was good for walking into city centre and close drive for sightseeing. The apartment was a good size. Car parking was easy

The room was so dusty and needing a good clean up. It was very disheartening as I had already read reviews making me worried as my daughter is sensitive to dust and as it was too late to cancel I contacted to the hotel to let them know and they responded acknowledging that I needed a room that had been dusted. Unfortunately no effort had been made and the room was not only very dusty but looked like it hadn't had a deep clean in years. The room was not well kept and needs a real face lift with chipped tiles, mould in bathroom, marks on kitchen benches. The 2nd room was made up as king but right against the wardrobe so it couldnt be used. The main bedroom was also made as a king but the beds weren't zipped together so they just separated as soon as you were close to centre leaving you hanging in the middle by the sheet as there also wasn't a mattress protector on the bed. For the price it was a real dissapointment as I could have got a much cleaner room in a better location for the same or less amount. I should have known better as the Breakfree reputation is exactly what I found at this hotel

Spacious and great gym area and squash court. Pool area looked clean and tidy.

In the middle of Canberra winter, the second bedroom didn’t have heating.
