The room smell
The room smelled terrible, it’s definitely not the Wyndham standard so must be newly acquired. This is more of a roadside motel than a hotel. I actually left the night I checked in and went to a diff hotel in Matthews.
Loud music playing outside room until 2am then loud banging on nearby doors early next morning. Hard to rest under those conditions. Several white panel vans parked near my room so unsure about the activity.
Rooms were clean and comfortable. Staff was very friendly and helpful. If I had need for a hotel in the area I would definitely stay here again. Breakfast is available in the mornings. Very quiet area. Good value for what is provided. I enjoyed my stay.
This Days Inn was clean and the beds were very comfortable. The staff went above and beyond before and during our visit, especially Mike. We had to stay an extra day and they were very helpful in making that happen. We had no issues while there. We will definitely stay there again when we come back to visit family.
Very nice location, staff is s friendly and knowledgeable. Quiet and peaceful area.. and food and amenities are within 10 miles. I didn’t have a reservation because it was a last minute trip, but Mike the manager , was very accommodating and helpful during this trip.. whenever I’m in the Monroe, NC area this will definitely be my go to! , and if you want to experience this stop by. You won’t regret it.
Like the quiet and safety
It was very quiet, the cleanliness, the manager Mike was very nice and helpful. I will be back and stay again.
Mike and staff are one of a kind (in a good way) when it comes to the hospitality business. I'm in different hotels throughout Eastern central states 335 days of the year, and honestly, this was by far one of the best I've stayed in. I do recommend.
