Fantastic building and lovely location

Staff were pleasant but breakfast host wasn’t very welcoming. No greeting or explanation about breakfast service. I felt like I was putting him out. A ‘Good morning’ and a smile would have been nice. The food was lovely but the croutons on my Caesar salad and the hash brown on the breakfast tasted like they had been cooked in stale oil.

The location and size of the room

The room was noisy and I could overhear things outside my room, there was cobwebs and general cleanliness of the room was poor, the bedsheets were noticeably worn, the door didn't close properly flush which mean I could see out into the hallway.
