Spark By Hilton Roanoke Airport

I like that every time I walk through the door, I was greeted by one of the staff, and they always asked if I needed anything or help with anything. I like that I didn’t have to sit at the counter and wait for someone to come. There was always someone there to help. If not a sign was posted that they will return shortly. I also love the cleanliness.

Originally went to Hampton Inn but they were full. They sent me to Spark and it was just fine. Totally comparable to my favorite, Hampton Inn. I understand they are both run by Hilton

Some bedding was missing, and didn't care for the bathroom door being a "barn door".

Staff was nice, room was cleaned. We were close to a lot of places.

We killed 5 stink bugs in our room by the window. You guys should place coffee makers in the room.

I liked the price

Arrived, went to the desk to check in and nobody appeared for 15 minutes. When she finally showed up she was rude. Never apologized for making us wait and didn’t even greet us. The headboard had grease or something all on it from someone resting their head back.Room smelled. Then we were charged $5 for parking even though there was no security. So what was the $5 for. She couldn’t tell us. Coffee was not good and the orange juice tasted like water with orange food coloring. I expected more from a Hilton brand because the Tru hotels are excellent. This was our first Spark and I’m sure the last.
