Great location, walking distance to everywhere...nice breakfast as well...

The pricing was great - it was a real bonus as a solo traveller that I could book a small room with a single bed for around £60 opposed to needing to fork out on a room for 2. My room was small and cozy and comfortable. The bed was very comfortable and the bathroom and shower were in excellent condition despite the age of the room. It was great that despite the room being on the smaller side, there was still a wardrobe and valuables safe. Everything was extremely clean and the hand soap in the bathroom smelt delightful! The location is perfect - only a short walk from the main old town - perfect for exploring Krakow. Even with the central location, outside noise was not an issue and the room was quiet. The breakfast restaurant was very pleasant and the chocolate croissants in particular were delicious! It was slightly disappointing that there was no hot food, but everything I had was very nice and well worth the value for money. The reception staff were extremely friendly and pleasant, especially Emelia, who kindly made a takeaway coffee for me upon check out. I would recommend staying in this hotel. It may not be the most modern - but it’s charming, comfortable and great value for money.

My only criticisms would be that the aircon did absolutely nothing to the temperature at all (which was a little on the warm side). The fridge in the room was noisy. You need to directly request for your room to be cleaned via a door hanger, otherwise it will not be visited by housekeeping. The multiple stickers across the room encouraging cost cutting (from flushing the toilet less, to cutting your shower time down) were a little annoying and patronising. There were also similar stickers everywhere encouraging you to book direct with the hotel next time. It felt a little like death by a thousand notes! Yes, the decor and amenities are a little dated - but this actually added to the hotel’s charm and character to some extent.

The pillows are too uncomfortable, and there shouldn't be only a duvet on the bed but also some sheets.

Preis für Frühstück recht hoch, insbesondere wenn man morgens gar nicht so viel ssen mag. Meine Empfehlung auf das Frühstück im Hotel verzichten, es gibt zahlreiche preiswertere Möglichkeiten.
