I have stayed in many hotels over the years, including many Hilton properties, and this was by far the worst experience I have ever had. I checked in late at night after paying almost $400 for a single night, expecting a basic level of service and comfort. Instead, I walked into a room that was not even properly prepared for a guest. The room had no blankets and no pillows. None. Just a bare bed. When I went to the front desk to ask for basic bedding so I could sleep, the receptionist told me they did not have any available and that I would have to wait until the morning to speak with a manager. This was around midnight. So the situation Hilton put me in was essentially this: Pay full price for a room and sleep without pillows or blankets, or somehow figure something else out in the middle of the night. That is completely unacceptable for any hotel, let alone a Hilton-branded property. I contacted Hotels.com support immediately, and even they were unable to get the hotel to resolve the issue that night because the staff said only the manager could handle it in the morning. This means the hotel knowingly left a paying guest without basic bedding for the entire night. This is not a small inconvenience, this is a complete failure of hospitality and basic service. If a hotel cannot provide something as fundamental as pillows and blankets, they should not be selling the room at full price. Extremely disappointing experience, and I would strongly recommend others avoid this property if you expect even the most basic hotel standards.
