The Stowe Village Inn

Nice size room and good location

Breakfast was a couple of small muffins/cakes. The room was £555 for one night. Ridiculously expensive - I expected things to feel a bit more luxurious at that price.

I will preface this review by saying that we did NOT stay in the actual inn itself but in one of the buildings on the property. The inn itself seems very nice, however, our room was just ok considering we were paying peak prices. Our room was very spacious, however, the bathroom was tiny and uncomfortable. Also, it was very difficult to get the temperature in the room at a consistent comfortable level. I definitely would not book here again unless we could stay in the Inn itself.

Convenient location, easy parking, walkable to lots of shops and dining options. Highly recommend.

We loved everything about our stay at this beautiful and charming inn! The location is perfect to enjoy downtown Stowe and the Inn itself is so pretty. Our room was clean and spacious, and we loved that we could help ourselves to extra towels. The complimentary coffee, tea and pastries were wonderful, and our lunch at the Grant's the Inn's restaurant was delicous, and made extra enjoyable by the gorgeous mountain view from our table on the lovely porch. We enjoyed all the staff, including the lovely older bearded gentleman who cares for the beautiful gardens. The firepit was an added bonus - we only wish they would add a couple of more on the patio so more guests could enjoy sitting by the fire at night. Highly recommend and already looking forward to returning!

They had a great fire pit for us to sit around during cocktails.

The room is very big with refrigerator and microwave. Bed is firm and comfortable.

Easy self parking. Very clean. Walking distance to Stowe downtown. Only negative is the king mattress...it is very soft and hollow where the 2 people sleep so not comfortable.
