Las Posadas of Sedona

Absolutely a beautiful peaceful place to visit. Brissa made our stay fantastic. Incredibly helpful and accommodating. Place was so quiet at night. Each morning we were able to go over to the clubhouse and have a delicious homemade omelette, French toast, cookies, fresh fruit. The entire staff was so friendly they made our anniversary trip very special.

Our stay would have been phenomenal if not for the first night. Grounds and room overall are fresh, clean and inviting. Our room had a king bed, and pull-out couch divided by a fireplace. Check-in was easy, the front desk assured me that there is someone at reception 24 hours in case of anything. At about 12 PM our fire alarm goes off shortly after the carbon monoxide alarm sounded telling us to evacuate the room. My children were sleeping and we never turned on the fireplace. We ran downstairs to the front desk only to find the doors locked with no one in sight. I had been calling the front desk for over an hour with no answer. Finally, I decided to call the fire department. The fire department came and assessed the room, while my entire family waited outside. Still no sign of the front desk staff. After over an hour the front desk appears and stated he was on the other side of the resort doing maintenance and didn’t think to take his phone. He told me that management was on vacation and I could bring up my concerns to the front desk in the morning. The next morning, the front desk said they would provide the manager with my concerns. They offered me a complementary bottle of wine and bar of soap. At check-out I learned the the manager of the building felt that waving the resort fees, the bottle of wine, and a bar of soap was sufficient enough to remedy the situation. Terrible customer service. This situation was not only unsafe, but unprofessional and unacceptable.

I loved the property

my wife and I decided to pop into sedona this year to beat the heatwave in Prescott happening earlier and Sedona was having a mild summer so we decided to check it out. the hotel was well kept, and inviting and we had no problems checking in. the front desk staff was very nice and very accommodating. we are returning guests and everything was as we remembered it. there were some upgrades to the property seemingly so that was nice. we spent a lot of time at the pool and they added a cold dip area and a sauna. i didn't use the sauna because SUMMER, but it's awesome there is one. The breakfast diner also got a remodel since the last time we visited and it was cute. as usual, the food was great and the main chef guy was able to accommodate my special dietary requirements. the breakfast service has a lot of personal touches that you just don't get anywhere else anymore. we saw lots of deer on the property, and heard coyotes at night, they are loud but it's still pretty cool to have nature nearby. a few of my favorite restaurants in town have closed, but I'm glad this place is still around. we will return next year.

Dated interior spaces, needs update, breakfast staff was not friendly, coffee urn in breakfast room did not look clean, lid was broken, stained towel on top of lid.

One of those comfortable stays where you say, “Oh, I’ll be back…..” Exceptional service and staff!
