"Stay at the Lilac Inn. "

We enjoyed our stay at the Lilac Inn very much. Everyone was friendly and helpful. Our king bed was extremely comfortable. The included breakfast was delicious with great muffins. We especially liked the house Bassett Hound named Ladybird!! Would recommend.

"Lovely, well run family Inn"

Greeted warmly and room is always clean and ready! Love the Bassett hound! Breakfast area is sunny and food is great. Have been there multiple times and will return! The grounds are lovely in the warm weather and the coffee shop & restaurants downtown are good. Will return!

"This place is a gem"

My wife and I stayed at the Lilac Inn for several days over the Christmas holiday week. Shelly and Ashley are super friendly and accommodating, and they make you feel like family. The inn has a cozy and comfortable feel, and the entire staff is great. They serve a nice breakfast in the morning, and Brandon is a relatively short drive to Middlebury, Woodstock and Burlington. There's the added benefit of Lady Bird, the lovable basset hound who roams the premises and keeps an eye on everything. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit and highly recommend.

The Lilac Inn was lovely and the Inn owner was welcoming. The 2 bed room my daughter and I shared was very nice and comfortable. The Inn was an easy walk to downtown.

The breakfast was excellent. I also really enjoyed the grounds and looking at all of the items in the cabinets. I appreciate that things like blankets could be self serve if desired. The television was easy to operate, which is important for my boyfriend.

The wicker chair at the desk in the Audubon Room felt somewhat unstable and rickety. It also had some poky spots that caught on my clothes. That was really my only issue, which was minor.
