Inn at Harbor Hill Marina

The wine and cheese hour is really nice. You can take your plate outside and gaze at the marina. The hotel is not too far from the boardwalk start. Roundtrip and back through town is an hour walk. Full breakfast can be taken in your room or in the breakfast room. The guest room was spacious. Staff was friendly and accomodating. They even shipped my jacket back to me after I left it there and took credit card payment for housekeeping tip since I forgot that too!

We stayed in the captain's house and didn't have any view, but it was on a quiet street so it was still nice. The bathroom lighting was rather dim. Just a standup shower but a more spacious one than the builder's grade.

The location and the rooms are beautiful and very clean though tight. The rooms have a beautiful view on the harbor and are luminous. The lobby is also welcoming as well as the staff at the front desk.

The beds were queen size and the mattresses soft and uncomfortable which made sleeping really difficult for a couple. The breakfast is served by the waiter and the fun of going to a small buffet is not there. The breakfast food quality is average - .

The location is close to downtown where you can walk to for lunch, dinner or ice cream. There is a variety of restaurants to choose from. It's also close to the Niantic Board Walk. The Staff is super friendly and the breakfast is delicious!! You may chose to have breakfast brought to your room-which is what we do. The bed & pillows are clean and very comfortable. We always look forward to sitting in front of the fireplace. This Inn is my husband's & my favorite spot to unwind and relax from our hectic, busy lives.

There are no refreshments or water bottles at the Captain Clark House, coffee & cookies are at the main house. Not a big deal neither is it a deal breaker, just make sure to bring your own.

It was nice to have a quiet room overlooking the marina. The breakfast was included in the rate, excellent and served outside. The inn provided complimentary wine and cheese and fresh-baked cookies and unlimited access to ice and coffee. It is a lovely getaway located close to a mile-long boardwalk along the Sound. Highly recommend.

Our stay for just one evening was excellent. The bed was so comfortable. Had no aches in the morning. Forgot to ask the type/name if you can let me know. Very clean which is so important and smelled nice. Food and service excellent as well. Will stay again when in area. Thanks for everything. Lisa and Tom.
