Loyalty Inn Rockingham

Location was good. We were attending the US Open in Pinehurst, NC. What breakfast ?!? We were next to the ice machine, so that was convenient

Room was very old….especially the bathroom, but it was clean. The smoke alarm started chirping at 3am every 10 seconds on our first night!!! WiFi connection was not good.

The room was run down and dirty. Checked in way before dark and they don’t even let you in the lobby. It was really hot in the room when we arrived and took what felt like forever for it to cool down. Just felt musty and gross.

Dated and needs updating. The caulking around the bathroom has visible mold and signs of dirt. There were small bugs throughout the room. The bed was clean

Beds was comfortable.

Looks ran down from outside.. inside had broken lamps, holes in the wall looked like someone threw an iron, it wasn’t a small hole. Every wall needs to be worked on.. bath tub and bathroom walls were horrible.

The property itself is nice. The room was also nice. It was clean, the floors look new. The best was comfortable and clean.

The 3 biggest issues I had during my stay was one: the air conditioner in the room was messed up, it worked but it took forever to change the temperature. You had to repeatedly press the down arrow to lower the temp until it started going down, most of the time it would go up, it would also start raising the temp. all by itself it wasn’t a big enough issue to move rooms since it still cooled you just had to fight to get it to not go up to 90 lol. The second issue was how you can hear everything that goes on outside. When the cleaning crew starts their rounds around noon you can hear every noise. And the third and last issue was around 11am every day our room keys would deactivate so we constantly had to go to the front office to get them fixed

It was convenient and comfy.

It’s a more affordable lodging option in the area, it was convenient to my training location.

Shower curtain rod was not securely installed, sink faucet leaked on counter when water was on, poorly lit room, uncomfortable mattress, person next door smoked THC openly out in front of room, domestic disturbance woke me up at 3 am.

My wife got stuck in the bathroom had to break the door open
