Upon arrival, my husband and my 3 yr old daughter and I were assigned to a room on the 2nd floor. We brought all of our things inside from the car and headed to our room. Upon entering said room, the first thing I notice is brown gunk all over the sink. As if someone spilt a coffee. Then I turned on the bathroom light to find pee and toilet paper all over the floor and in the toilet. We walked right back down to the front desk and asked for either a refund, or for a different room. They assign us a different room. We go in and its not as bad as the first but still gross. The entire hotels floors are filthy. The mattress didnt have a fitted sheet, and the flat sheet it did have was yellowed from years of use, and cigarette smoke, im sure. The towels were yellowed as well. The bathtub had black gunk in it so we decided not to use the shower. We bought microwave meals to avoid ordering out only to find the microwave in the room was junk and wouldn't heat the meals thoroughly. On top of the nasty state of the hotel, the people staying there definitely seemed like local addicts/criminals. (I was afraid to leave the room without my husband.) I didnt get much sleep that night. There were people up in the wee hours of the night yelling and pounding on the walls. My toddler had fallen asleep so we decided to let her sleep and leave first thing in the morning. Which we did. We had originally made a reservation for 2 nights, but checked out early. I was told by the man at the desk to call later to get a refund for the second night because he didnt know how to do refunds. We'll, I called later. The manager said he couldn't refund me my money. This was the WORST hotel experience ive ever had. And honestly I have no idea how that building isn't condemned. It is DISGUSTING.

This is what I didn't like about there wasn't anything that I liked at all. It looks like a crack house motel. Once I walked in the room I left, didn't even stay there that night. I was not going to sleep in a place like that. The pool wasn't available, it was just run down. And needs to be condemned. It's sad really. For that price of 88.00 a night if I had known I wouldn't have paid 20.00 a night for it. I don't give bad reviews but when I didn't feel comfortable staying much less having my grandkids with me to stay which is why I went to Missouri in the first place it was granddaughters birthday. I ended up having to cut my trip short because of it.
