Het hotel ligt direct aan de snelweg en een truckstop. Hierdoor heb je de hele nacht geluid overlast van vrachtwagens en de snelweg. De kamer was niet schoon. De staat van het hotel was oud en versleten. Dit wordt ook door het personeel gezegd. Het ontbijt was zeer karig. Kortom zeer slecht hotel voor het geld wat ik ervoor heb betaald.

Helt greit rom, men senga var god, og badet var rent. Frokosten var god, med mye godt pålegg å velge blant. Merkes at det ikke er helt nytt, men det var likevel helt greit å bo der.

"Not so good"

We have stayed at Stav many times, has been OK, and very convenient being on E6 as we visit by car. This time: Staff was not "joyful", quite the opposite. The room (#101) was cold on arrival, the view non-existent as the only window was against a concrete-wall, the elevator make a lot of "weird" noises which made us uncomfortable, and it was obvious that the whole Hotel was in need of upgrading and upkeeping.

Viktig for meg var at det var innenfor en økonomisk akseptabel ramme for meg som pensjonist. Dessuten at det var gratis parkering. All betjening var svært imøtekommende og hjelpsomme. Det eneste som skjedde som skremte meg, var at brannalarmen gikk kl 06:15 den 3. natten ( av 4 netter ) - og at jeg ikke ble orientert om hvorfor før jeg spurte i resepsjonen v/frokost. Dersom jeg ser bort fra denne lille hendelsen, var jeg SVÆRT GODT FORNØYD MED OPPHOLDET- og kommer gjerne tilbake. Vennlig hilsen Edvin Grande ( Pensjonert Musiker og Lærer i u.sk/ vgs )
