The Governor's Inn

The whole experience from start to finish was lovely. Our hosts Holgar and Rosie were generous, helpful and always kind. Their attention to details was surprising. The 3-course breakfast was superb. The inn is very conveniently located with quick access to Okemo for skiing and to excellent restaurants in town at walking distance. It was a memorable stay!

The Innkeepers were very nice and hospitable.

The Innkeepers were lovely people, and the Inn is in a convenient location, but unfortunately, we were disappointed in the size of the room for the money we paid. It was not a good value, considering that we had other better options for the same money, not too far from this one. We chose this location due to its location "in town". Although this Inn may work for some, please note that our room (Dorothy's Room) was so small that we could barely move about and was facing Main Street. The noise level outside (Main St) was so bad that we barely slept a wink. We came home exhausted!! Had we had to be up for skiing, the whole trip would have been a total bust. Once again, the Innkeepers were very nice and I do understand that this is out of their control. There were some nice touches, a frig full of water and cold drinks just outside the room, a nice living room downstairs, etc, but a good night's rest is very important. I am posting this, as if you decide to stay here, there may be other roomier and quieter rooms to choose from at this Inn.

The food was delicious. The innkeepers were very kind.

If I were to stay again I would pick a room with a bathroom that has a bigger shower.

The Inn was lovely, the room was very comfortable and the breakfasts were absolutely delicious. Holgar and Rosi are wonderful hosts. We thoroughly recommend their Inn.
