Centara Kata Resort Phuket

The resort is very nice, breakfast was very generous and plenty of options. The food, also a la carte is delicious. On some evenings they have barbeque, cabaret shows etc. Extra charge but worth it. The resort is a little far from the beach (15 mn walk) but they have complimentary shuttle.

I can’t say. Everything was very good and fair for the price we paid.

Staff was very helpful and we got a free room upgrade.

Breakfast wasn’t great. Crowded and with only 2 coffee machines. Menu was repetitive and besides for eggs and omelets, warm food wasn’t really good.

We recently spent 11 nights here as a family with 3 year old twins. We thoroughly enjoyed our time here and would stay again. The rooms are a bit dated, however the family suite we stayed in was huge, which suited us perfectly. The pool area is really lovely and the emerald pool lined with trees felt wonderfully tropical. The splash park could do with a bit of maintenance but my children still really enjoyed it. The foam party on Fridays was enjoyable and we loved being able to swim up to the bar for drinks. We ate at the hotel many times and all the food was great, we ate at one of the buffet nights once and although it was really tasty the food was a bit cold, id perhaps go a bit later after it had replenished. Everything we had from the restaurant from either dinner or lunch was really tasty and the kids portions were huge. Breakfast had the usual options, fried eggs, omelet, cereal, bread and pastries, pancakes, fresh fruit and some hot options like sausages etc. The hotel helped us arrange some day trips which were great, and also some taxis. The staff work exceptionally hard and any issues we had were resolved quickly. There are many massage shops around the hotel, other shops, restaurants etc. we used the beach shuttle multiple times which was efficient. You can walk back from the beach in about 15 mins and is a straight road past a food market, shopping areas etc. there is a 7 11 literally around the corner as well. I would definitely stay here again for the right price

Erittäin ystävällinen henkilökunta. Hyvä aamiainen. Aamiaistuotteiden vaihtuminen oli plussaa.

Huoneissa kuluneisuutta. Allasalueet, etenkin kolmannen altaan alue uusimisen tarpeessa. Epämukavat ja osin rikkinäiset aurinkotuolit. En luokittelisi neljän tähden hotelliksi.

Rooms are clean. Different swimming pools which is nice. Free shuttle to the beach. Friendly staff. Well equipped kids club.

Breakfast is very stressful if you come in rush hour. You will have to stand in line to get a table because there are too many guests and not enough tables. All day they play loud music at the pools.

Fint hotel. Værelse ved den stille pool. Personalet er flinke. Tæt på byen.

Ved poolen var en kloakafløb som man ind imellem kunne lufte når man lå ved poolen. Phuket var alt for travl til os.
