Overall was a great experience. The hot tub being broken was our only let down. Staff was very friendly and plenty of food to eat at breakfast.

Check in was easy, staff courteous and rooms comfy. Breakfast was good! Great place to stop for a night on our way to Pennsylvania from Florida.

One night stay as a stop over. It was fine. Room was clean but needs updated same with bathroom. Breakfast was fine nothing special. No benches or any outside space to use. Put us in a room next to elevator which ended up not bothering us but we were also next to guest laundry and a woman was standing outside of laundry room at 12:30 am arguing on her cellphone with the phone on speaker for a good half hour 45 minutes. Very annoying and disturbing. Won't rush to stay there again.

My husband, myself, and my three boys were driving back to Florida from Ohio and stopped at the halfway point in Wytheville. I looked at several different options for places to stay, and although this one was more expensive, it looked cleaner from the photos on Expedia. We also chose it because it had an indoor pool where the kids could get some energy out for the night before we hit the road in the morning.The lobby was very clean. The breakfast area was clean. So far so good at check-in. The staff was even friendly. We went into our room and it looked like it would do for the night. The kids changed into their bathing suit and went down to the pool and I accompanied them I could not stay in the pool area for more than 30 minutes because it was stifling hot in the pool area. The pool was a refreshing 85° while the hot tub was a cool 75°. There was so much chlorine in the pool that everyone’s eyes were burning. we were barely able to stand it for more than 30 minutes. There were other people in the pool area that were also complaining about the heat and the extremely strong chemical smell. So we went back to the room to get some sleep. It was the worst night sleep I’ve had in a very long time. The beds were very uncomfortable. In the a.m. I checked under the beds for any left behind items and there was trash under both of the beds. I did not notify staff as we had to head to FL early. I will say that the breakfast was decent, and the staff was attentive to the breakfast.

The staff was very accommodating and nice. They went above and beyond from suggesting restaurants in the area to bringing us fresh sheets when requested. The room was huge and very clean. The breakfast was really good and they had tons of options. My kids loved that they had Nutella for their waffles. We will use this hotel everytime we travel north from now on!
