Hotel Excelsior Splendide

The property location was pleasant, view was great. The property was unfortunately antiquated.

Outdated property. Would expect more updated features for such price. At least update the broken room sensors, lighting, and aircon… Nevermind the aged and noisy wooden floors. The bed was basic two singles pushed together and uncomfortable. The blackout blind was a nice touch, but that feature is common in all hotels we stayed, so it is not special. There was live band noise from nearby restaurant until 11:30PM on Thursday (special event?). The manager apologized for the disturbance but was out of their control.

Staff were amazing especially Gloria, she was just amazingly helpful and a credit to your business. The hotel is everything we expected and more. Typically Italian, fantastic location, great food, everything on hand and local. Shame about the parking situation but it's still the place to go in Bellagio.

We booked a lake view room and didn’t want to leave. We had the best view of the lake and were happy to spend time in the room because it was away from the hustle and bustle and we could enjoy Bellagio away from the crowds. Would do it again, worth the splurge. Even though it wasn’t high season the journey to get there was not fun, as we came through Como. Head to varenna instead and ferry from there.

Loved the location, the balcony / view of the lake ,.

The breakfast wasn’t so good and the best were absolutely awful. Left so extremely sore !

Could have had a better selection of breakfast. Room could of supplied kettle ,

This hotel is in the heart of the lakefront promenade. There are shops and eateries all around. I loved the lake view from my room. However, on a Saturday night it was not such a prime spot as music from a restaurant below kept me awake until midnight. In retrospect it was a small price to pay for a very special stay.
