It was clean

The property was clean but the front desk staff were not very welcoming. Not friendly they acted like it was a bother for them to do their job checking in.

The room I ended up staying in was clean. Check in and out was easy and quick. Location is convienent, if a bit loud from the road noise but that's not the hotel's fault. The bed was comfy and the appliances/emenities like blow dryer, coffee maker, and fridge worked well. The employee that checked me out was very nice.

The first room I was assigned smelled like cigarettes. I was moved to another room. The hotel should post that they're now a non smoking establishment as the room next to me definitely had someone smoking in it. The employee that checked me in could have had a better attitude and been a little welcoming or at least faked it. Breakfast was really lame the first day and even worse the next. I understand hotels cost more during peak times, but I don't feel it was worth what I paid. What's up with the pillows? And I think we can all agree that the refillable toiletries are gross.
