Chalet Hotel Kaya

We recently stayed at Chalet Hotel Kaya and really appreciated its excellent ski-in, ski-out location, which made accessing the slopes incredibly convenient. Breakfast was a real highlight, with a great selection and plenty of choice each morning. The pool area was also a pleasant space to relax and unwind after a day of skiing. The staff were quite friendly and welcoming throughout our stay, which we appreciated.

During our stay at Chalet Hotel Kaya, there were several aspects that didn’t meet our expectations. The rooms were on the small side and felt quite cramped for two people with suitcases — it was difficult to unpack and store two cases comfortably. Storage space was limited, which made it harder to settle in for the week. The bathroom only had a handheld shower rather than a fixed overhead shower, and toiletries were minimal. Towels were also not changed during our stay, and housekeeping was not carried out every day, which would have been appreciated. The leisure facilities were more limited than expected. While there is a pool, there is no sauna or additional spa facilities, which was disappointing after a full day of skiing. The hotel appears to be run largely by a young team. Although friendly, the service did not feel as attentive or polished as we have experienced in previous ski hotels. The lounge area lacked a welcoming or cosy atmosphere, and the mountain views — which could have been a real highlight — were partly obscured by books placed along the windows. At dinner, while the food itself was reasonable, the hot dishes were not always served at the ideal temperature.

Excellent location for skiers, we loved it!

Some of the staff at restaurant a bit cold with families. For the price i expected a bit higher standard at the pool and staff.
