Chalet Hotel Kaya

Very nice room with beautiful decoration. Very nice staff. Excellent swimming pool and sauna. Ski room perfectly organized with a lot of space. Direct access to ski slopes. You can’t miss the great cocktails in the bar and the desserts served between 4-5.30 pm in the bar. But the best is the Keirn restaurant. Food is delicious! Greek chief makes a perfect match of French cuisine elegance and freshness of the Mediterranean style. Every dish was at the Michelin star restaurant level.

Pretty expensive (hotel, bar, parking). Restaurant is more expensive than the others but definitely worth it! Globally hotel is very clean but sometimes our glasses were not perfectly clean. Access to ski slopes was difficult as there was not enough of snow. Pool billiards in very bad condition.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. The rooms were clean and very comfortable. The ski locker facilities were excellent with boot warmers. The afternoon snacks served at 4pm are delicious and very welcomed after a day of skiing. The breakfasts are excellent with lots of choice.

It has a fabulous location for skiing but it does make it quite remote. This means there are limited dining options in the area and you need to plan around late night buses which are only every 40 minutes in the evening.

Location, service, free sweets

The staff were very helpful. Our daughter was ill during the stay, they helped to change the bed sheet very professionally. One night the reception helped to call the doctors at 2am and gave us a lot of support. We feel very well looked after. The room was clear, good size, and all the facility are working in good condition. The facilities onsite such as ski shop and restaurant is superb. The location is good for ski too.

Nothing.

Perfect location, can ski straight out onto a blue slope and the lifts are close by. Breakfast was great. A huge selection. And you can also get omelettes, eggs and crepes made for you. Rooms very comfortable. Also used the spa which has a pool, steam room and sauna. You can also get spa treatments but these are not included. Would definitely stay here again if I was in this resort again.

The only thing that was not ideal was the shower because it is attached at the bottom of the wall by the taps and not at the top of the wall.

Tudo muito bom, quarto amplo, luxuoso, com cama e travesseiros confortáveis, banheiro de ótimo tamanho e com banheira. Hotel silencioso, com ótimo atendimento tanto no restaurante quanto no bar, além da excelente gastronomia. Café da manhã delicioso e cardápio variado todas as noites.

Aesthetically pleasing… that’s the only positive

Rude staff. Not kid friendly as advertised. Staff not accommodating. No food for kids between breakfast and dinner. Restaurant only opens at 19:00 which is too late to go for dinner with two babies and they won’t help you with meals any time before the restaurant opens. Kids play room was always dirty when begged to open it up for our kids to have a place to play. Very far from town and the bus doesn’t go up to hotel most days, so you have to walk in the snow with babies to the next bus stop and back up. No fridge in our suite, which means we can’t keep babies food safe. No hotel shuttle service to and from town. The list of complaints go on.
