Samos Hotel

It isn't a 5 star hotel, but it is superb for what it is, right in the middle of the main town in Samos. The staff were superb

We spent 7 nights here in Samos Hotel. From the moment we walked into the hotel, the staff was so very accommodating. We had a small room with two twin beds on the second floor over looking the sea. The room was small, but very clean and worked well for our needs. The A/C worked but took some time to figure out the controls. Bathroom was small but clean. The best part was the roof top pool, great view and a constant breeze. We had lunch and drinks several times on the roof top bar, excellent food and loved the Mythos Beer. Maria at the front desk could not have been nicer. Each morning she welcomed us and helped us figure out which beach or town to explore. Maria also guided us to use the public bus, super easy, 1.5 euros per person, only problem was the irregular bus schedule. Breakfast was fair, fresh fruit, salads, breads, juice, etc.....sitting outside was a nice addition. Would recommend this hotel !!!!

We stayed one night in Samos. The hotel's location was excellent - right next to the wharf with plenty of nearby restaurants. We had a garden view room with a balcony. Even though we were not facing the ocean, we still had a good view over the city. I'd highly recommend a visit to the rooftop where the swimming pool and jacuzzi are located. The views are superb.

Good location, frindly staff, good breakfast, overall it`s old hotel but nice and you will find comfort.

Very close to the ferry and nice restaurants. You really need to hire a car to get around the island or to the beaches.

Literally right across the street from where the ferry pulls into Samos town. Other than that it's pretty average. If you're staying any length of time in Samos you're better off to find a place in one of the smaller towns on the island. If you're just in for a day or two before catching a ferry to Turkey (like us) then it will serve it's purpose.

We stayed 2 nights at the Samos Hotel and it was a good location, clean, and close to restaurants. The only things we didn't like was the noise from the street on the first night. Our room was on the main street over looking the harbor with a fantastic view, but it was noisy with motorcycles and cars. The second night it rained so the streets were empty and we slept good. If you like it quiet at night, ask for a room in the back. The view is nonexistent, but it's quiet.

Delightful lobby with a wonderful bar and separate breakfast area. Outdoor seating for relaxing coffees, teas or drings. Walking distance from the harbor docks. Rooms were above the average with complimentary soap and body lotion in bathroom. Small but comfortable balcony. The door from the hallway is very heavy and entry way hall is a little tight if you have large suitcases. I would certainly stay there again.

I would just like to say how much we enjoyed staying at the Samos Hotel. We were very well looked after while we were there. We had plenty of choice for breakfast, The pool area on the roof was fabulous and Bettina, the lady who looked after the bar in the pool area was a mind of information about the island and places to visit. I also loved the downstairs bar which had loads of atmosphere enjoyed by tourists and locals alike. The prices of drinks were no more expensive than anywhere else and very nicely presented. We would certainly recommend this hotel to others. The only thing I missed was live music in the evening.
