Fit the bill

It was quiet. Rooms were very nice. Shopping and clearwater beach was close. Wife and i are smokers, so was nice to be able to go out on the padio in the morning and enjoy a cyp of coffee.

The property looked like the photos on Expedia. The problems start from there. On my way to the property from the airport, the front desk called me and wanted to know when I was arriving, because they wanted to leave. Check in is at 3pm, and it was 2:15pm. Then you find out that the "resort" does NOT clean your room daily, they don't provide clean towels, and they only give you a tiny bottle of shampoo ! I had to negotiate to get new pool towels, and I was told it I want my room cleaned, they would charge me a large fee + tax ! There is no mention of this on Expedia. At least 2 months before arriving I extended my stay by 1 day, and the Front Desk had no idea how to handle the 1 day extension ! I received 3 phones calls and 2 texts telling me they had no record of the extension and then scrolled down and saw the extra day. I only dealt with 1 "Adult" at the front desk, as the rest looked fresh out of college and had no idea how to deal with people and more importantly Hospitality, which is that main service at "resort" is supposed to provide. It's shame, because the grounds are nice, the pool area is clean, and the rooms are good, just don't use the few towels they give you, because they won't provide you more. And if you want clean sheets and pillow cases, look elsewhere. They did offer me some detergent if I wanted to wash my own ! I've been traveling for more that 50 years and NEVER dealt with anything like this. You get charged a "RESORT FEE"

The kids working the front desk, have no idea what service is supposed to provided at a "Resort". They don't clean you room daily, not at all if you stay less that a week, and only once if you stay 5 days. They don't exchange pool towels and if you if want your room cleaned they will charge you $86 plus tax. I extended my stay by 1 day- 2 months before I arrived and they had no idea how to deal with that. you only get 1 tiny bottle of shampoo. If they ever figure out what the resort business is, they might have something.

My wife and i love it. Only nad thing is my wife went to take a shower and no hot water.

We had booked months ahead, we were given the room one story above the office, so the stairs were the closest way to move our bags and coolers and snacks to the room. We arrived about 4pm and after unloading the car, I asked about taking a bike out to ride, the manager said we are closed and you can't have one. The sunset wasn't for 3 more hours. To be there right after checking in and to be told we're closed was just, UNBELIVEABLE!!!!! The room itself was nice and comfortable, however, the AC was incredibly loud. Every time it "kicked on" it was so loud it literally woke us up. I called the office in the morning and told them about it. They said they'd get someone to fix it. By the time we got back to room, the office was closed and it was apparent that they had done nothing to solve it. So bad sleeping conditions both nights. Also, my wife woke up to small black ants in the bed. She noticed them on the floor and near the font door. Lastly, there was a constant drip in the shower and it looked like some mold was there. The bottom line is this property has SO much potential with it's location, etc. They just need to get the details corrected.

We had an enjoyable time. The food st the hotel was fair and served in styrofoam.

Perfect place for a couples retreat. Off the beaten path but close to everything (away from the hustle and bustle). 10-20 minutes from Honeymoon Island and Clearwater Beaches. Extremely clean room! Beautiful view and sunsets! We loved our stay!

This place was great. The room was nice and the view fantastic. The staff were friendly and courteous. I will return. Recommend.

Nice place to stay. Some check in issues but were resolved.
