Hometown Inn-Soddy Daisy

I technically stayed the morning of the 29th. But always nice and accommodating when my boyfriends kicks me out

Close to the interstate

Our room smelled of mildew as soon as we entered the room. Once we were ready for bed and laid down, we see a large area directly above the bed which had a bad water leak. Water was no longer leaking, but there was mildew all over the ceiling, sheet rock was cracked & damaged. I tried to reach the front desk, no one answered the phone. It was late when we arrived, but you would still expect someone to answer the phone. The next morning, it took a while to get someone to come to the front desk as there was something all over the elevator floor & I was going to ask for something to put over it so no one fell on the liquid in the floor. A man finally came to the window in PJ's & handed me a wash cloth.

No breakfast available . And the only hotel we stayed in requested a deposit of a 100.00 . I certainly hope I get that back .

It smelled old & musty. It looked old & unkept. The elevator worked sometimes not always & afraid would get stuck on it. One of the beds spread was soiled .

Front door was locked at all times and the clerk was behind some kind of protective wall I’ve never seen before. Was this area that dangerous and if so why would you recommend it. Room smelled also.

Smelled horrible in my room and all through the hotel. People yelling at night, bed was a brick, internet cut out constantly, paper thin towels, don’t recommend

There was no check in!!! I chose the option to pay at the hotel, but expedia went ahead and charged me. When i got to the hotel they wanted another deposit. Which i did not have. Also told that my reservation was for the next night. When i tried to cancel it, expedia informed me that home town in located in soddy daisy tn. And they dont do refunds so i am out the room fee

No complaints.
