Great location, check in and out process was easy. Spacious apartment with everything you would need for a great stay.

Although it was very clean, bit run down and beds could do with an upgrade.

I didn't have time for breakfast, but the location it's self was awesome, everything was with in walking distance, every restaurants were the food I very much love, tasted so good, so yeah I will be back with the rest of the family and I will be sure to promote the area, thanks for the hospitality, hopefully will will see you soon.

We checked into the Park Regis Townsville in early August for a 3 night stay. Immediately upon entering the apartment we saw that it was dirty. The oven had piles of baked on filth on the bottom, the sides, trays etc. The stove top under the elements was filthy. There were crumbs from the previous occupants on the floor and piles of dirt beside stove etc. The bathroom cabinetry was peeling badly and the bath stained. There was minimal equipment in the kitchen. The pots and fry pans that were there were mostly burnt and stained. We went straight back to the Manager Shawn Anderson/Andersen and mentioned the above. His attitude was rude and condescending, making us feel that we were just being picky. We asked if he had another room. He had one, this was in exactly the same state. As it was late in the day we stayed the night. The bedding seemed clean. We paid $287AU per night for this privilege. The next morning we went back, with supporting photos and asked again for a change of room to maybe a refurbished room. Shawn again was on the offensive, refused to answer our questions as to whether this other room was refurbished, but kept telling us that no matter what he showed us we would never be satisfied. Appalling attitude. We were told to come back later in the morning. We did, to face more rude and hostile treatment from Shawn but he did show us to an apartment that was still being cleaned. This apartment was refurbished and would have been acceptable. It was still below par as there were blankets on the couches covering stains that had been there for weeks. Shawn had been made aware of this but not acted on it. We decided to check out as by this time we felt Shawn's antagonistic and arrogant behaviour would overshadow the rest of our stay. We were given a refund for one night but had to say goodbye to our money for the next two nights. None of this is acceptable.
