Marshall Slocum Inn

There is no elevator and no tvs!! But it’s only two floors and the guy that worked there took my bags up for me.

Marshall Slocum is a wonderful bed and breakfast inn! Friendly and service oriented staff, as much privacy or social time at the location as you choose to have. Just minutes walk from the main downtown shops and cafes. The great little apartment was so comfortable we did not want to leave when it was time to go!

Had a wonderful stay for my daughter's 21st birthday. Inn was quaint and owners/staff very friendly. Bed was very comfy and room was quiet. Breakfast on the deck was enjoyable. location is great as an easy walk to downtown--restaurants and shops. Will definitely go back again!

This was our first bed and breakfast that we have been to and it did not disappoint. The location was perfect and the amenities exceeded our expectations. The owner and his employees were super friendly, which made the stay even more enjoyable. They went out of their way to make sure we were comfortable and have everything we needed. The king bed was like sleeping on a cloud and the room was a perfect size. We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Newport.

Only thing missing is a TV, but they do provide tablets to stream shows.

After a frustrating experience at another hotel and zero support from Booking.com, we had to find a last-minute place on our own. Luckily, we came across this property — and it completely turned our trip around. Beautiful stay, perfect location, and exactly what we needed in Newport. We’ll definitely be coming back!

Overall hotel was nice. Mark and Jackson were awesome!
