We liked the location.

The pool was the main reason we came to this hotel. The water slide and mushroom feature was the defying factor for my family. We went into the pool and it was so cold my kids couldn't even swim in it. We just used it once and didn't want to return. My son was shivering constantly and is now sick in bed with chills and a cold.

It was clean

The bathroom toilets flushed slowly and the bathroom sinks drained slowly . We had to change rooms, and the phone in the room did not work, we had to call long distance to reach the front desk even for check out early in the morning, they just left a notice to call a number for service .

The staff was very friendly.

The first room we were given smelled like cigarette smoke so we asked to be moved to a different room. The staff was apologetic and nice about it. The breakfast was not great by any means. The sausage was horrible. It tasted like chemicals. Only one waffle maker and there were a ton of people waiting to use it. Location is weird. The property is behind a big industrial area. The photos make the pool look big but it is actually pretty small. The water looked dirty as well with hair floating around in it. We stayed there specifically for the pool but after seeing all the hair floating my daughter didn't want to swim. Kind of a bummer.
