Very clean! And the owner gave us very good recommendations for some trips and restaurants

Beautiful rooms, great breakfast, very comfy beds, really nice view

The pool seemed to be closed at odd times, one day it was around 4:30pm

Spotlessly clean and well appointed accommodation, hosts very helpful with recommendations to eat, Knysna marina/waterfront a short drive or walk. Breakfast very nice, We were only at Hide Away for one night but would recommend to anybody coming to the area

It is a great property and the staff, especially the host, Colleen was great with everything you can want and need in your room.

The only downside, however, I believe the time of year (holiday season), was the traffic noise if you opened the windows on the first floor.

Beautiful guest house, great location, delicious breakfast and hosts were really receptive!

I could hear the noises of tableware being arranged for breakfast before 8am, which was kind of annoying because I wanted to sleep a little bit more.

The guesthouse is stunning! It’s very well maintained and very modern and chic. I loved our room, the bed was comfortable and the topping was a coffee maker right there in your bedroom for when you need it! The bathroom was spacious and clean. I loved everything about it! Sometimes you’ll end up not wanting to leave the room! Colleen and her husband were fantastic hosts! Very welcoming and helpful. The breakfast was delicious! A definite recommendation.

Nothing. It was perfect

We arrived about an hour early and the house managers very kindly said we could go ahead and check in. We were met at the car park with a lovely friendly greeting and the porter told us he’d take our bags to our room as it was available. (After lugging our bags around this was the most welcome greeting ever) Amazing start! Stunning views. Lovely room with super balcony. Excellent quality towels. Beautiful add Ons - water x2 every day, tea, biscuits and coffee, dressing gown. The guest house, as many reviews note, is just off the N2. After a few hours you don’t really pay heed to it and when in your room definitely can’t hear it. Colleen is amazing and has a wealth of fabulous information to make your stay so enjoyable. I loved having an old-fashioned map too. Great restaurants and beach recommendations. Felt really safe and comfortable. The pool is lovely and sunbeds relaxing. Breakfast is a delight. Cecil does a fabulous plate. Not rushed. Cooked to your choice. There is a lounge that has a lovely honours bar area. Very thoughtful. Staff are very welcoming. Laundry service fabulous. We stayed for a perfect 6 nights.
