The Fern Lodge

We went there for a three day vacation and it was unbelievable. The Lodge Itself was wonderful. Our room was very large with all the amenities.Large fireplace with jacuzzi and steam shower.Porch overlooking the lake. Total relaxation!The daily wine tasting was perfect. Wendy the innkeeper couldn’t do enough for us. The breakfasts were gourmet thanks to Steve the chef. Overall a great experience.Would go back in a heartbeat

There is not enough words to describe how amazing this place is. Wendy was very helpful and friendly. She upgraded our room so we stayed at Birch. Every little detail in that room was done very tastefully. Will definitely stay again.

Fern Lodge is a breath of fresh air literally and figuratively. The lodge is quintessential Adirondack – right blend of rustic warmth. The staff are friendly, helpful, and very good at what they do. The breakfast was perfect. The rooms are luxurious with all the amenities – and they are quiet! We came to the lodge in the “shoulder” season of November – we were looking for a place to chill out, enjoy each other’s company, and be pampered. We got it all. We look forward to returning in other seasons to enjoy this superb Inn and the beautiful Adirondacks!

Serenity and relaxation abound! Beautiful property. Gracious and friendly service with special touches. Take a boat ride on Friends Lake. Swim, kayak or fish. Soak in the hot tub. Play pool. Enjoy homemade breakfast on your private porch…. S’mores at the fire, indoors or out. 30 minutes to Lake George and Bolton Landing… What more can you ask for? Highly recommend! If I could give 50 stars i would. I had read the previous raving reviews and confirm...noone was exaggerating. This is a family run lodge with all the personal touches that only families can give. The pictures on the website don't do it justice because its the FEEL of the place and people working there that make this lodging experience so special. What u don't see on the site are small yet significant touches and I will name a few. The rooms are airy and calming. There are 5 rooms (i believe) with individual names. Me and my husband stayed in the cedar room. U can see that someone put their heart and sole into its decor, with high vaulted ceilings, small wood carved trinkets, a large screened in porch with fire pit, a fridge stocked with plastic water bottles, a huge steam shower and jacuzzi, bad sheets that were so comfortable that I actually went online and purchased a set for myself. I don't remember sleeping so soundly. The lodge sits on a pristine lake with kayaks and paddle boards provided. Everywhere u turn, there's another sitting area that faces the lake. Breakfast...amazing, prepared for according to your preferences. And downstairs, a game room with a bar for ordering drinks and even a large movie theatre with lazyboys. They even provide a microwave and popcorn bags...I could go on and on but simply said, I am so glad that I found this place. Hats off to the owners, innkeeper, cook and staff that gave us such a memorable summer holiday. Thank u fern lodge

I would highly recommend The Fern Lodge. The is amazing. My husband describes it as a peaceful place. And it’s extremely clean. Sharon is great! She gave us a tour. We will definitely be back!!

Amazing property and wonderful hosts.

Very unique and beautiful guest rooms. The balcony overlooking the lake was fantastic. The king size bed was extremely comfortable. Friendly and accommodating service with a delicious breakfast. We cannot wait to go back.
