Sandos Monaco - Adults Only

Het eten was goed en ruim voldoende. Het personeel was vriendelijk. Hotel ligt vrij centraal, vlakbij het strand en de oude stad.

On the welcome letter it states that sunbeds should not be reserved however that discipline is not adhered to or monitored!! It is not fair that that when you are on holiday that the need for a relaxing holiday is marred by the need to have to get up in the morning to find a place in the sun because all the sun spots are taken up with towels nobody is sitting on!!

Lovely hotel in a quiet area but right on the doorstep of the very lively strip. Food and drinks were excellent and all staff very friendly. It was roasting here last week but pool never warmed up, serious design flaw putting pool that side, would have been much better where terrace is to get sun on it all day rather than just part of it! Bath needed a mat and more rails tho as was slippy stepping up to step out

This was our 3rd stay at Sandos Monaco Hotel and Spa in Benidorm and it won’t be our last. This is an adult only hotel. Just got back from this hotel with my hubby. The location was based down 2 streets away from the beach with a slight hill climb going back. The rooms were lovely. Stayed on the 15th floor on a Select all inclusive basis. The room and bathroom was always kept spotless. Thanks to Irene and the other housekeeping. The only thing I can say on a negative note about the room was that the WiFi signal wasn’t very good. Other areas of the hotel were much better. The Select Lounge was very good and could go in and help yourself to premium drinks, different coffees and snacks. Lovely aircon when it was a bit too hot outside. This was an upgrade at a cost per person, per night. With select you also got a free spa pool voucher, bubbly on ice, drinks in the fridge, a free gift, free room safe, bath robes and slippers. Personally, we felt it was very good value. I had a lovely massage and facial in the spa. Over 2 hours and once completed, felt so relaxed. Highly recommend! Also went to the inside pool area where there was a jacuzzi, relaxation seats, sauna, detox and steam room. Mood lighting was lovely and relaxing. You need a euro for the locker areas and deposits are needed for towels. The food was buffet style with plenty of choice. Different options each day. Bravo to all the restaurant staff. In the pool area during the day until 6om, you could have snacks like, Cheeseburgers, pizzas, kebabs, salads, and Spanish Sausage. This was great if you were at the poolside and didn’t want to head down to the restaurant. There's an inside bar next the pool. This was always busy, and felt there was a slight flaw here. I felt for the bar staff as they sometimes got flack from hotel guests queuing long to get a drink. This was sometimes due to guests asking for coffee and soft drinks, rather than serving alcoholic beverages. Coffee sometimes took a while to make, while queuing got longer. A suggestion that a coffee machine and a soft drinks machine could be put in there for self service. That way, the bar staff won’t feel so overwhelmed and guests kept happier? The bar staff worked their socks off to try and keep guests happy. The entertainment girls were lovely. So friendly and funny. Plenty of entertainment if you want to join in. The entertainment lounge also has a bar. Well done to the entertainment team for their hard work and long hours. The reception team were also fab. They were so helpful if you had any questions about your stay or queries on the surrounding areas. The check in and out was fast and didn’t take long at all. There wasn’t an iron or board in our room, however, asked at reception and they got that organised. There’s a 20 euro deposit for this and is refunded once returned. Thanks to Adriana who I had emailed before our stay, to ask some queries. She was brilliant at answering them and made us feel so welcome. I hope I haven’t missed anyone or anything out. We just loved our time here and there was a chilling and relaxing vibe to it. We were sad to leave, but looking forward to seeing you all again hopefully soon. Thank you, it was wonderful.

Go every year - always look forward to it. Staff are brilliant although the bar service can take time especially when people want hot drinks. A few years ago there used to be self service coffee at the end of the bar. I don't know why they stopped this.

I want to thank Adriana on behalf of my family who did everything that she could to try and help us after finding out that Royal Elite had cancelled our reservation for three rooms over six nights on us without us knowing after we had arrived from Canada!! Adriana and her team were sympathetic to our situation and showed genuine care and concern and provided us beautiful rooms before we had to leave after two nights and find room availability elsewhere. They gave us free parking for the week even though we would not be at their resort all week. The entertainment was amazing as well!! Thank you very much Adriana and team!!!
