Econo Lodge Glens Falls - Lake George

Was only an overnight but no complaints it was clean and staff were friendly, would stay again

It didn't have an elevator and just across the parkinb lot were apts with people just hanging out on their steps. Also, if you stay out late, the check out time is 10 am!!!!!

Overall, it is a great place to stay. The property is nice with a pool. The staff was great. The breakfast is ok. My only complaint was that our room was right beside the smoking area, and it leaks into the room.

never use booking again got charged 80.00 when we checked in because of booking that sucked you people stink.........

Not much. Just thought there should be more of a selection for the continental breakfast. Just had waffles, muffins , OJ , and coffee. I’ve been to other Econo’s and they have a lot more choices. Like eggs , toast , cereal , meats , ect.

I thought it was nice. The beds are comfortable. The room was nice and clean. The front end service was good. I liked how I came in late they still let me check in

Location was close to the mall and shopping, restaraunts. They also had a nice pool, but very small.

The room was very oddly set up. You basically had to walk over a bed to get in because of the closet. It seemed like the beds should have been on the opposite wall, but I think they didn't do that bc of the ac.

We arrived alittle early so took a chance of early checkin, we’re told that there would be a fee for early checkin, we decided to wait until 3pm for regular checkin. Arrived at 3pm, was told that only one room was ready, the other was not. Everyone piled into one room, kids went to the pool, about 1/2 hr to 45 min later second room was ready. Rooms were nice, mattresses were alittle undesirable, floors could’ve been swept, mopped or wet jet, my grandchildren had socks on and the bottoms were black. Breakfast we had coffee, but went to Ambrosia Diner which is nearby or the Silo which is in walking distance. One thing that caught me off guard, was the hotel next door, it looks as though it’s used for homeless, during the day it’s not too bad, at night everyone is outside on their stoops or on the second floor residents were hanging over the railings smoking and drinking. There is only a parking lot between the two hotels. A good price was paid for our two rooms, it should be noted that this is happening next door to the EconoLodge. It’s understandable that those in need, need a place to stay, but those who are on vacation should be told this is happening. Not sure if the manager oversees both buildings but this is just alittle risky. PHOTOS ARE NOT ACTUAL PHOTOS OF CURRENT HOTEL!
