Hotel Sol e Mar - Adults Only

This hotel was very good, with the exception of the room location discussed below. The staff was very helpful and friendly. In the rear of the hotel you can walk directly onto the beach, and from the front you can access the wonderful town full of shops and restaurants. Breakfast was an unexpected delight, with a full range of just about anything you could want.

I rented a junior king suite, which I believe was the roomiest premium room offered at the time of my booking. However, the hotel's website indicates that there are 5 floors, while in fact there are six floors, and to my understanding there are only six of these rooms available, and they are all located on the sixth floor. The elevator only goes as far as the 5th floor, then you must climb a total of approximately 25 steps to access the 6th floor rooms. I did not find this disclosure on the website where it should have been posted along with the room description (did I miss it?). We are in our 70s and would never have booked a room without elevator access. While the hotel itself was really great, and I would return with a smaller room on floors 1 - 5, I think all accessibility information should be clearly and prominently presented.

Great staff, particularly Jose on reception, good location, good breakfast.

Rooms on the sixth floor annexe have no lift from the 5th and a lot of stairs so being a bit elderly we had to change rooms to the main hotel block.

Lorsqu'on paie près de 400 € la nuit, on pense pouvoir bénéficier de la piscine (fermée), avoir droit à un peignoir et à une serviette de plage (hôtel en bord de plage), avoir des rideaux occultants qui fonctionnent ( l'un était impossible à ouvrir), un support de papier toilette qui soit fixé au mur ... Pour clore le chapitre, il n'y a pas d'ascenseur entre le 5e et le 6e étage (nous étions à la chambre 603). En conclusion, nous sommes déçus par cet hôtel dont le rapport qualité/ prix est médiocre.
