Club Wyndham at Waikiki Beach Walk

Using our timeshare, we are happy to get to this location. It was convenient for the entire family who wants to do variety of things. We were able to do different activities and it was easy to commute with Uber/or Lyft if you didn't have a car. This place can be crowded too since in the center of Waikiki area.

This place is center of Waikīkī and close to beach. Service responses as fast as possible. So it is very convenient to stay here.

I had this booked for a few days stay while on Waikiki, just before checkin we got a message that the pool would be closed. So I started digging into the review and information to find that it's not just 'now' that the pool has been closed, it's been closed for a LONG time, with no real slated time to open. Given that we really just wanted to sit around the pool, we cancelled last minute, losing all our points. We ended up staying at the Westin Moana Surfrider, on the beach. A Great decision. I was not willing to gamble our last 3 days on HNL being harassed by the salespeople to do a timeshare presentation and not having a pool.

This hotel was a nice location. We could walk everywhere - to the beach, shops, Target and restaurants. Hotel staff was very attentive and answered all questions about how to get places, lined up rides for us, had beach equipment that was for everyone to use and towels that you could take to the beach. They were quick to provide us with extra laundry detergent and coffee when needed. We had a 2 bedroom unit and my sister's family had a 3 bedroom with an upstairs. Both our units had views of the beach and we saw several rainbows during our stay. The units were clean and well stocked with kitchen utensils, pots and pans. They even had a broom and small vacuum for all that sand! I felt our units were up to date, clean and comfortable.

My first experience at the property. The Lewers street location was a convenient walk to the beach, numerous dining options and shopping. The rooms were clean and pleasant. And the staff was very professional and courteous. A shout out to the Assistant Mgr. Shane Kelly and his team for quickly resolving an issue with the AC.

Great location and in the heart of all the shopping areas. Very close to the International Market that contains luxury shopping brands as well and other stores that one would be familiar with. The rooms were nice and recently updated (Presidential Suites). This location is very close to great restaurants and beach access that is a short walk.

The staff here goes over the top to make you feel welcome and help with tours and directions. The property is well maintained, perfect location in downtown Waikiki, and comfortable. We did a presentation that was low pressure and friendly.

Location for resort has great walkabity to many restaurants and shops, which was great. Distance to beach was several minutes of a walk. Parking is expensive, $60+ a night, but that seems to be normal in Waikiki. Staff we interacted with was friendly, and concierge got the hint we were not interested at all in a sales pitch (we were guests of Wyndham owner). Our room was very clean, and our upper level 1 Bedroom Deluxe had small view of Diamond Head and a little peek of the ocean. Room was updated. Some issues with room included leaking shower door resulting in puddle on floor, difficult to close bathroom door with jamming hinge. Sometimes noisy at night but that’s a city for you! We also wish pool was ready, but from what we told it’s been a forever project with no end in sight. In the end, room was fine and worked for our needs! Honestly it was better than we expected, with little issues and a nice place to relax at night after a busy day exploring Oahu.

I was really unpleased with the inconsistency of the employees of broken promises and the value of their words. I was unpleased to find hidden fees! Valet is $60 a night! When we checked in by a lovely employee she explained that they can waive 2 days of valet so we can find a more affordable option like Ford De Russey, which we did and paid $235 for a monthly pass for our 8 night stay. Once we checked in we had to go to another desk were I wasn’t so pleased to the approach, it was very harassing and uncomfortable, imagine after a long day of travel to be asked all these questions and be pressured to signup for a presentation, carrying all are our bags! Rico called me 3 times, once to my room! It was a turn off for sure! The swimming pool didn’t work , you had to walk 2/3 blocks. Room towels felt like sandpaper! The ending of this stay was by far horrible and I will Never go back or recommend anyone! I was charged for services I didn’t receive. I was charged valet and I was not used, we had to walk 2 blocks to our hotel, due to the high overcharge. At check out I was told that the lady that checked us in her words weren’t valid and the charges of the 2 night valet charge stand, I told Charles that I would be late for my flight back home, still stood 30mins trying to figure it out. The customer is always right! Was Charles going to pay for my missing flight! No! Doubt that! Charles goes to say that a parking discount depends on the concierge desk. Which is mind blowing!!! I have never stayed at a place which the employees aren’t on the same page and was told one thing at checkin and was charged another at checkout. I did attend the presentation and signed up with Jolene and a rep from the concierges desk was able to get her on the phone and she said she would be able to help and talk to the Supervisor/Manager since neither were there at the time. I still haven’t received a called back regarding the issue being resolved.
