The location And the room dirty

Wonderful all around: the room was super clean, full of conveniences, internet was speedy and had no hitches, staff was cheerful and helpful. There was no noise coming from outside or other rooms. I felt safe and happy. This hotel is a hidden gem in Abbeville. And it was so inexpensive!! I will be back.

Could have a few more choices for breakfast.

So i called the hotel this morning on september 28, 2024. The first time i called, the worker answered and i asked how were they doing. So that worker hung up on me. So i called back 2 times after that and all i got is busy signals. So when i finally reached out to the employee only just to ask how much were their prices for the day, the employee refused to give me the answer and just straight up told me that to don't call back this store and told me that they were going to file a restraining order on me if i kept harassing them. I don't know who the person was and probably never seen the worker in my life but the worker was being very cruel and ugly to me and yes i did call corporate office and left a good detailed message. So monday morning, i will call corporate again and tell them about my situation again. If this employee doesn't want his/her job, then they shouldnt be working there and yes when corporate hears again from me monday morning, that person will lose their job.

I try not to write bad reviews but this property was terrible. I reserved two rooms, one for my husband and I and one for our son and his family. There was a horrible smell when we entered the room (moldy smell). My son’s room had the same smell, as well as a horrible smell coming up from the sink. It was so bad that my son and his family actually left and went elsewhere. We stayed bc we were so tired after driving all day. The smell got better after running the AC. The mattresses were very hard making sleep difficult. Also, when we took a shower, the water came through the wall and started flooding the bedroom floor. Horrible experience

Conveniently located. A little run down.

Air conditioning unit would not adjust fan speed and was in need of a good cleaning of the outside coils.

The bed and pillows were PERFECT!!! SOOOO comfortable!! A/C worked great! The second room was very clean. Front desk clerk, Sandra, was friendly and tried to correct the issues she knew about.

The free breakfast is not what is in the pictures. Frozen breakfast sandwiches, cereal, and fruit. Key cards do not work if your cellphone is near the door when trying to unlock it. Very nice front desk lady, Sandra, came to open the door, which I'm glad she did because there were pizza boxes and water bottles from the previous guests still in the room Sandra immediately put us in another room, that was very clean, except the tv wouldn't work. She changed the cable box and still nothing. I told her don't worry about it as we had our phones. After she left, I realized there was no lock on the door except the deadbolt, it was about 11pm, so I jammed a chair under the doorknob instead. The ac was held up by a 2x6, the lamps were missing lightbulbs and the bathroom door was so warped that it wouldn't close.
