The Glasshouse

I spent a very comfortable two nights at this hotel. The staff could not have been more friendly or more accommodating. The hotel is perfectly located in the center of Sligo on the edge of the river. While some of the furniture in the Public spaces needs a little attention the rooms were very comfortable and I did not lack for anything.

Breakfast was great.

I didnt like the fact that there was a charge for parking for each night you stayed there. I felt as if I was being ripped off as the price of the stay was expensive. Parking should be included in your stay.

My grandparents stayed at the glasshouse whilst visiting me in Sligo. Very nice and comfortable room. I joined them for breakfast where Darren provided excellent service. Very friendly and very helpful man. Very happy with overall experience

The hotel had everything one could expect: good location, fair price, varied breakfast, polite staff, and naturally, a parking fee.

Great location with car park. Fantastic large room. Bath had shower and tub. Very clean. Food was excellent. Great variety for breakfast. Professional, helpful and professional staff. We plan to stay again.

Location was great.

Food wasn't great... we had included breakfast in our stay but after the first morning we decided to eat elsewhere... options were limited and not appealing eg commercial cereal, soupy fruit salad that didn't seem fresh, hard and dry scrambled eggs, barista coffee not hot and was weak and an extra charge.

If one issue was the room key didn't release the door to the corridors and bedrooms and we had to go down to get it changed. I know its a security feature, but I had to urgently get back to the room and it was a bother.
