The Glasshouse

Myself and 3 friends stayed for 2 nights our deal included bed breakfast and 2 course evening meal. The rooms were spotless, the staff were so friendly and accommodating from the receptionist Paul to the waiting staff Aaron Katie and Darren. The lady serving breakfast was so polite and efficient even though it was very busy. They looked after us so well from we entered the hotel till we left. The food was amazing, definitely 5 star food. The breakfast provided everything you would need and more. Great choise for all tastes. We have stayed in various places in ireland and we all agreed this was the best hotel so far for food, friendly staff, cleanliness and the fact it is right in the city centre with parking provided.

Just back from a wonderful stay at the Glasshouse hotel Sligo. Staff very pleasant and helpful , a special thank you to Tanya for being so informative. Hope to return during the Summer. During our stay we visited Rosses Point and Strandhill ,which were very beautiful and well worth a visit, with great walking areas and lovely scenery.

I stayed in the Glasshouse Hotel last night. I had a wonderful and relaxing stay. From the moment I arrived I received a warm welcome from the lovely receptionist and all the staff I met afterwards were so nice. The restaurant service was excellent and the food was delicious. The incredible view was a highlight. It was a perfect stay.

The Glasshouse Hotel is a nice building in the centre of Sligo. It has its own underground car park, which was useful. There are lots of grades of rooms, depending on size, whether they face the river and whether you get a balcony. I found the reception staff friendly and check in fast. The room was clean and comfortable. It got a bit noisy in the early morning from traffic from across the river, as it seemed there was a major bus stop there. Breakfast is a bit chaotic. Although the hot foods are set out to be self serve they insist on serving you, which in my case they ignored what size of portion I wanted. The continential breakfast choice is limited and for the most part unlabled, including juices. It was Ok, but could be far better with a small change. You have to order coffee/tea from servers, which means waiting if you want a refil. On the day I stopped they seem to have a few new staff who were being guided by managers.

Once again a great stay at a lovely hotel. The location is excellent with good parking. Beautiful room. Breakfast was delicious and the staff were professional, attentive and very hard working. A special mention to the manager of the restaurant in the morning who always welcomed us and has clearly ensured the staff are well trained and friendly. Reception staff extremely helpful and very friendly. Also a mention to the cleaners who worked very hard. Finally a big thank you to Realtin who served us for our evening meal. She remembered us from previous visits and was exceptional. Looking forward to our next visit
