Hotel Lido degli Spagnoli

Séjour de 7nuits, bien placés pour rayonner dans le sud ouest de la Sardaigne, hôtel très propre, excellent restaurant, très bon petit dej buffet copieux, agréable piscine avec vue sur la mer. Dommage que le Resto ne serve pas en terrasse. Nous voyagions avec un bébé. Nous recommandons l'établissement.

Vi ankom til et smukt beliggende hotel med skøn udsigt. Værelset var stort og en god base for vores ferie. Der var en kort gåtur til byen med mulighed for mad og italiensk stemning.

The hotel has a spectacular view and rooms are large. This was our second stay because we had a great experience the first year, but we were there for three days only. We came back because we wanted to visit the beautiful area near the golfo di Gonessa, S.Antioco and all the western coast of Sardinia. The hotel staff were polite and accommodating, but we were pretty disappointed that the management didn't consider our comfort when the hotel was booked for a wedding party. Our room faced the swimming pool area, but unfortunately this area was rented for the party. The party started at 10:00 pm with high volume band music, jokes of a DJ with microphone and approx. 200 people drinking and participating to the party. I complained at the reception desk with no result. The party lasted until 2:30 in the morning. I understand that profit is important for a hotel business, but what about respect for the hotel guests?

We really loved the fabulous see view from our balcony. It was a short walk to the nice beach. The hotel offered mouth watering food at reasonable price. The staff was very helpful. So we just loved our stay. Portoscuso isn't a small town so you get more about your stay if you have a car. From the hotel it is 15 minutes walk to the city.

Ein nettes Hotel abseits des Dorfes Portoscuso. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und die Zimmer waren sauber.Zum Frühstück gab es verschiedene Wurst-und Käsesorten, frisches Obst, Saft und viel Kuchen. Die italienische Küche am Abend war fantastisch. Der Strand nur wenige Schritte vom Hotel gelegen, war klein aber das Wasser blau und warm. Der kleine Ort war etwas ausgestorben ( Ende September ) , die meisten Restaurants hatten schon geschlossen. Das Hotel ist empfenswert.

We found the staff really friendly and helpful throughout our stay. Hotel is 100 m from the beach. Wifi was a little intermittent at the hotel but that was the only slight downside. Best thing about holiday though was the Italians. They were so kind to us the whole time we were there . From waiters, bar staff the fiat dealership people who got a part for our hire car (thanks Alberto) everyone ! We love the Italians ! Tip. Keep google translator close at hand and it goes down quite well by showing willing to at least try to speak the beautiful language .

Not real convenient to town, so restaurant choices are limited to 2. Friendly staff generous with information on what to visit in the area. Pretty setting with views across to the nearby islands. Floor in room could have been swept of stray sand more frequently.

Very pleasant and relaxing, with all staff extremely helpful throughout. A real holiday!
