It is a really beautiful hotel.The decor is nice , the rooms are spacious and very clean.The staff is fantastic ,welcoming and you really feel at home .The free phone in the room was a bonus.I will definitely recommend this gem to my friends

Nice small hotel and good lucation

We got a great deal at this hotel - I suspect it caters to the business community, and business can be pretty quiet in Bucharest in August - so the online price, including breakfast for three nights, was excellent. This is a pretty, stylish hotel - our room was quite small, but beautifully designed and put together, with a comfy bed, air conditioning, and a minibar, as well as a spacious, pleasant bathroom with lovely toiletries. Hotel Moxa is on a side street off the main drag Calea Victoriei, and opposite a park, so it was really quiet and restful, with just the sounds of crickets to send us to sleep! There's a pleasant little courtyard with tables to enjoy a nightcap in, as well as a cosy bar and breakfast room. Breakfast itself was excellent - really very good - with a big choice of great quality dishes, decent coffee and unlimited return trips to the buffet. The only downsides I'd say are that it's a bit of a hike from the centre of the city - although an interesting, pleasant one, that takes in grand buildings, and fascinating reminders of Bucharest's turbulent past. It's also a ten minute walk from the nearest metro station. More annoying than that though, we had a late night meal and drink in the bar when we arrived, and it was ridiculously expensive - especially the (Romanian) wine which was about 8 euros a glass! Look at those prices, Hotel Moxa, because apart from that you have it absolutely spot on.

We were only there one night, but the hotel staff was very friendly and accommodating. The hotel room was nice, and the air conditioning worked very well. We were close enough to walk to the city center and take in the nice views of Bucharest. The hotel is about a 15 minute drive from the airport which made it easy to get to and from for our flights. The room was clean, and everything all around was much better than what we anticipated and expected to get given the relatively low price.

Nice hotel great seevice!

Apart from its location, this hotel should not be allowed to show 4×. All the upholstery was disgustingly stained, the textile on the chiar looked as if they were left out in the rain, the bed board had head stains, there were no towels when I arrived, no tea or coffee or kettle in the room, the shower tiles had lost their colours and moulding in the corners. Breakfast lacked variety, no omelette available, coffee machine had to be attended by hotel staff only. Travelling abroad 50% of my time, this one was a disappointment.

We were expecting more of this hotel. We were told that as a boutique hotel, it would be amazing, and even though it was not bad, it was also not amazing. It was like any regular hotel, but then it was more expensive. The worst was the service of the woman at the reception, but there was a guy that was nicer. The room was nice but nothing to go crazy about.

The staff was extremely patient and helpful; we really enjoyed every minute of our stay!

5 out of 5 on everything except rooms not having a window, which feels a little claustrophobic. Very nice courtyard to wind down and read a book.

A good clean, comfortable and friendly hotel. High level of service from the staff, and we’ll located for the attractions Bucharest has to offer. I’ll be back!
