Nicely renovated and comfortable. So many nice touches from moldings to pillows! Also loves the backyard with the fountain and barn. It’s all just great.

Staff wasn’t too friendly. Nice enough and gave us a good walk through but just not very welcoming. But this shouldn’t stop anyone from staying here. Also, they said the bikes were under maintenance and we couldn’t use them. And fireplace didn’t work. That was a disappointment.

Breakfast every morning was lovely - pastries from Bouchon bakery, fresh juice and fruit. The location was quiet and did require a car which was not an issue for us. The property was beautiful with fun shared spaces - both indoor and outdoor. We enjoyed the fire table on the patio two of the evenings.

Everything! This is our favorite place to stay. Quiet, quaint, good location, clean, and just a little hidden gem

They mess up reservation on B-day. Wrong restaurant. The good thing they give us a table 30 minutes later. But the bad thing they tried to put like it my fault I didn't make reservation ind tried to get to the restaurant without it.

The first room we had was dark, close to parking and pathway (no privacy when curtains were opened) and had a toxic smell (a spilled cleaning agent?) and unbearable noise from Hwy 129 traffic. Why, when we were only one of two rooms occupied for that night, did they initially give us a second rate, small room on the ground floor that was very dark and very noisy? Upon checking in, the receptionist was cordial enough. However, for the rest of our stay, he barely looked up when we passed, never initiated a hello-- and was generally not a good front man for the business. In addition, when he was present, he kept his "brief case" spilled open on one of the two chairs in the very small lobby. As far as the breakfast goes: Bouchon is good. However, I think the choice of sweets delivered to the room each day, was poor. One croissant between two, along with two overly sweet pastries. Two croissants would be far better, and hey, for the price of the room include two other pastries. If that's not possible, just stick with the croissants. As a tea drinker, Tazo, the brand supplied, is mediocre. The hotel could do better. Supplying Coffee Mate is downright insulting. We had to buy our own cream. The orange juice tasted like the cheap grocery store variety and the fruit was a poor grocery store quality as well, served in a 6 oz ounce jar, for the two of us. Some yogurt would be great. A couple who had flown in for their honeymoon, was stranded in the lobby for quite sometime because the receptionist decided to leave early and had left his phone at the desk, so no way to contact anyone. Luckily, corporate figured out he was without his phone and was able to remedy the situation.

The second room we were given was lovely. Second story, with double insulated windows so the noise from Hwy 129 was much more diminished. The room was also much larger, with windows, on three sides-- light-filled. From our booking details we had paid for this room (size, amenities). When the staff offered to give us the opportunity to change rooms, they threw in a bottle of wine for our inconvenience (and then charged us for it when we checked out. We had to request a refund).

Great location. Very quiet and wonderful amenities. Thoughtful decor. Wonderful one!. I would come again. And again. Close to everything and yet it's got a country house feel right on The vineyards. And the radiating heated floors in the bathroom are incredibly good if you're cold.

The radiating floors did create a lot of heat in the room. We didn't know how to turn them off. We didn't look into it too much and we didn't ask anybody. So I'm not complaining. I'm just noting that they're very efficient and keeping the room very warm.

Elegant Inn, very spacious & comfortable rooms, modern design inside a 100+ year old building. Beautiful winery views, picnic breakfast delivered to your room w/fresh pastries. Nice outside area, fire pit & gathering barn. Ample parking, fantastic location
