Mövenpick Resort Taba

I stayed at another Movenpick resort years ago and decided to try this one for 3 nights while visiting Israel. From the Eilat bus station, it took 80 minutes to ride bus #15 to the border, exit Israel, enter Egypt, walk to the hotel, and get checked in. I showed my airplane ticket home from Tel Aviv to prove that I already paid the Israel exit fee, so there were no fees from either country. I opted for the half-board (buffet breakfast and dinner) option, which was a good thing because there's no place nearby the Resort to eat or buy snacks.

The staff at the Movenpick in Taba are all excellent! We were truly treated like 'family' ... lots of smiles & greetings from everyone! We chose the half-board option and were glad that we did ... a buffet breakfast & dinner that was never 'boring'. Overall the facilities were excellent - though it was too cold for us to take advantage of the outdoor pools ... we DID lounge around on the super-clean beach (groomed daily) and managed to bask in the Sinai Sun!

Perfect getaway to relax on the beach...

I am from the USA. My daughter and I stayed here three nights. We felt safe and were treated like royalty. The room was big, the view was beautiful, and the staff exceptionally helpful and friendly. I highly recommend staying at this resort! Be sure to book the correct number of guests and I recommend the half (breakfast and dinner) or full board (three meals a day).

The room was very comfortable with a nice view of the pools and the Red Sea from the balcony. The food was interesting and plentiful. Even though I traveled solo, I noticed the many families with children having a fun time. The staff, including security, could have not been more accommodating.

Movenpick Taba is by far one of the worst options to chose. It is located next to the Hilton Hotel on the border of Israel ( Eilat city ). Not much to do other than staying in the hotel. The hotel is not clean. I took the " all inclusive " option but the food was dirty and seemed not fresh. My wife throw up a couple of times after eating the food and has still stomach pain. I wouldnt go there again and would advise you the same.

Good place to stay for relaxation weekend to enjoy swimming pool, spa and beach tan. take all inclusive otherwise there is no place to have drink or food (buffet meal and drink are all free with all inclusive) . food are average and alcoholic drinks are not really alcoholic! take your vodka and whiskey bottle with you from the dutyfree. will visit again.

From reception to check our, the hotel staff were kind and helpful, we got a room upgrade, which we loved. The beach area is clean and well taken care of. The services at the spa were wonderful. the food was good and plenty.
