Best Western Okemos/East Lansing Hotel & Suites

It had a nice indoor pool, and the suite was spacious and comfortable.

No housekeeping was offered in our 4 day stay. We weren’t told until we checked out that you have a call and request it. Our keys never held their charge for more than a few hours, requiring constant trips to the front desk. Breakfast offering was minimal, tables were dirty.

I thought the bed was very comfortable- the temperature in the room was also very easy to control and really felt like the temperature I set. Our family was not able to be put next door with connecting doors but were able to be put on the other side- appreciated that extra effort to keep us close on a sold out graduation weekend. Appreciated the front desk person addressing one of the intoxicated neighbors yelling/screaming one night (he was doing online gaming or gambling)- it was taken care of swiftly and all was quiet on that side the rest of the night. Swimming pool room clean, stocked with towels, temperature of room and water nice and warm.

WHY MAGNETIC SWIPE ROOM CARDS? We probably went down to the room 10x over our four days because inevitably our room key was demagnetized by our phones, my purse magnet, maybe other cards in my purse, and anything else that could do it.. that was a huge pain because every time we thought we were being more careful it would happen again- that meant walking around to the front from our side of the building parking spot or if it worked to get us in the side entrance it didn't work for the room... Walls seem thin... or maybe more the connector doors are too thin? We had noisy neighbors on both sides- the majority of the noise seemed to come right through the connector doors. Even with our television turned up normal/a little more sometimes to mask the noise... it did not.

They had free on-demand tv and movies.

Housekeeping did not go into my room once during a week-long stay. Side entrance door was broken, deffective smoke alarm in room, keycard would randomly not work, laundry setup was awful, much more... By the end of my stay I left very frustrated.

Only 3 sets of towels in room when we reserved the room for 4. So frustrating
