Alpine Trail Ridge Inn

Location to Rocky Mountains NP was delightful enabled easy access early morning and later in the evening.

The balcony rooms are above and when there is someone there it is quite noisy. Footsteps, dragging suitcases/bags and or furniture, it is very loud.

Spacious room and enjoyed the quiet balcony and mountain view.

Little farther away from main thoroughfare, but plenty of restaurants close by closer to park entrance.

Pricey for the comfort, bedding was decent the bathroom very small, the toilet area small and we are not big people. Good for over night stay. Beautiful area!

The chairs are metal and cold provided in the room and not comfortable at all , What little time we spent inside. Parking was not great. Disappointed in area around the hotel, pictures of the property appeared better than they actually are, but for one night everything worked.

The location

I rarely leave negative reviews, but I feel it's important to share my experience. Before arriving, I received a message offering early check-in for an additional $25. Since I was traveling with my 4-year-old son and expected to arrive before the standard check-in time, I thought this would be a helpful option. However, when we arrived and asked about checking in early, we were told that early check-in was not available because the rooms were full and that we would need to return at 3:30 p.m. The interaction felt dismissive, and it was frustrating to receive information that directly contradicted what had been communicated beforehand. The room itself was also disappointing. The property advertises newly renovated rooms, but our room did not feel newly renovated. The furnishings and overall condition seemed dated, and the bathroom was extremely small. The walls were also very thin, making it easy to hear noise from neighboring rooms. For the price we paid, I expected a much higher standard of accommodations and customer service. Unfortunately, the experience did not match the property's marketing or rates. While Estes Park is a beautiful destination, I would likely choose a different place to stay on a future visit.
