"The hotel met my needs and nothing more."

The motel was conveniently located off the Kansas Turnpike and was near grocery stores and gas stations. It allowed me to have my dog in the room for a minimal fee. Otherwise, it did not offer much extra. There was no breakfast of any kind and the provided soap and shampoo were minimal in size and quality. The coffee maker in my room was not working.

The place was in an area of Emporia that felt neglected.
