"Exceptional"

Island Inn is far beyond our expectations. Check in with Ken was awesome. Its more than a room irs an apartment with full kitchen, screened balcony overlooking the Gulf of America. One of the best places on Sanibel for sea shell hunting. Clean, nice furnishings.

The best part of this is having private beach access and our room right there in walking distance. The staff was amazing! Special thank you to Glory, John and Ken + the housekeeping staff! Always so kind and welcoming. Will definitely be back in the near future!

"Would have been perfect without the bugs!"

Lovely location, clean and comfortable apartment with stunning views! Great for a calm vacation / shelling.

Bugs! Those no see ums are no joke. Dozens of bites that made the stay a lot less comfortable. We were not able to take walks, enjoy the porch or do the things we wanted to do because of those. None of the sprays really worked. Sanibel is a lovely place, but not again!

The place is clean and nice , but the price is too high for what the hotel offers. It doesn't have a gym, there's no restaurant, they don't have a pool. Nothing to do in that hotel

Room and location

$1500 for 4 nights exceeded my budget but planned this trip hoping the island had recovered more so and the inn didn’t have pool as we expected.

The room had everything we needed - sitting area, kitchen, nice bathroom, and, most importantly, direct access from the balcony down stairs onto the beach. It was great. We really enjoyed the space and view. And the staff are so friendly!
