I got bit i mean bit bugs!

Shower water pressure

Definitely a little town with only the one hotel that tries. The door took several tries to finally register the key and open. At one point we had to get help from the front. She was very nice and did help us. No elevator. Overall tho not a bad stay, ac worked great and quiet at night.

The staff was friendly and as helpful as they could be. The downstairs was clean and open. The location was very convenient.

The room smelled strongly of cat urine. When we arrived, the fridge hadn't been cleaned and was full of melted ice creams and stale, half-eaten Dairy Queen meals. The sheets were stained with what was either fecal matter or bed bugs and perhaps urine. We ended up sleeping in our car, since there were no refunds, all the rooms were booked so we couldn't move rooms, and we didn't have the $ to book a different hotel.

There are BED BUGS at this hotel!! Woke up in night with sensation of itching and burning on my legs. In the morning I had bites in a line and in clusters. I asked the person on duty for a refund, which he processed. Haven't received it yet but he said it would take a few days. Since then, the bites have quadrupled, I read that bites do not always show up til later. We had to throw away our luggage and many belongings. We had to leave early the next morning for a float trip, so had no choice but leave our luggage and belongings in the car. When we returned, exhausted and dirty from being on river all day, we had to find another hotel before we could take a shower. But we were worried about bringing bugs to that hotel. So we spent the evening til late at night sorting through everything, bagging up clothing, and throwing away multiple belongings that were in our bags or in the car. Spent a chunk of change buying trash bags, new change of clothes, new pajamas, calamine lotion, etc. We had to cut our vacation short and come home early. Spent several more hours after returning cleaning or putting belongings in ziplock bags and leaving them outside in hot sun. We took off our clothes and shoes before going in house and went straight for the shower. Left clothes and everything else in bags to sit in closed, hot car for a few days, which means I cannot drive my car. I have to also make an appt to see my doctor for the bites, as calamine lotion and Benadryl itch cream is not helping. I did call the hotel Saturday evening before returning to ask the manager if he/she had suggestions on what to do to avoid bringing bugs home, but staff said the manager 'was not available for four days', could not do anything about it, and I had to call back. I The reviews on booking.com were mostly good and said the hotel was 'clean.

All of the staff was very pleasant and the room was very quiet. No complaints.

Great place to stay. Clean, comfortable, affordable, safe, and friendly. I’ll be staying here whenever I come to NW Arkansas to ride.
