Travelodge by Wyndham Parkersburg

The staff was great and understanding.

The smell and condition of the room and everything in it was unacceptable. We walked in and looked under the covers and left immediately.

This place was horrible , the bathroom wasn’t clean, the bed was broke down and there was bed bugs would not recommend this place for even my worst enemy

Pool could stay open later and property could be updated

Location was good

Very dirty looked like hadn’t been deep cleaned every. Air conditioner unsafe to use around children moving parts exposed in room.

First two rooms were smelly from smokers. Room had no toilet paper holder, mno bath soap and possible blood stain on floor!

I just needed a safe, clean, and cheap place to sleep. The staff here are always nice. The dinner next door has awesome food.

The Peace

I did not like the holes in the wall The uncomfortable bed and no room service to clean up the takeout trash come and get the dirty towels give us clean ones or bedding and make them and I will never come back there and the bathroom smelled like urine when we got there

I didn't like anything about it. Coffee wasn't made just a dirty place

Rooms was dirty lights didn't work in one room had to be moved to a different room. Then that room the remote didn't have batteries. And the manager was rude. Will never go back plus didn't get a refund due to poor management. Definitely will tell people to stay away to go elsewhere

The office staff were all very professional and friendly. My visit was due to flooding of my home from the Ohio river. I wasn’t informed until the evening of 4-3 that I needed to evacuate now, as the River was over the bank and would continue flooding the area. I haven’t driven at night time in 6-7 years, so the drive over to the hotel was extremely stressful for me. The hotel allowed my late arrival. One thing I really appreciated, was the way they spaced the hotel guests. We weren’t on top of each other. I was able to park in front of my room which was great. The room was quiet. Only negative : The room—especially the carpeting, needs a really deep cleaning. On the positive side: I booked from Wednesday evening thru Saturday. After finding out the water was receding a day earlier than expected I checked out on Friday morning to get back home to see the damage. I had paid up front and the young lady wasn’t sure if I could get a refund for the day and a half I wouldn’t be there. After waiting less than a week, I was happy that the manager gave me a credit. I will stay at this Travel Lodge in Parkersburg, WV again, as I felt safe, the bed was comfortable, and it was quiet.
