Hotel Laguna Anjuna, Goa

I have stayed in this hotel before, but this time I took my husband and friends hoping for the same experience I had earlier. But this time rooms very not at all clean or maintained, staff refused ice in room service in the peak of heat, no backup when the lights went off. The people are lovely but the adminstration of the place needs some work. I was so disappointed to have to change hotels in the middle of my vacation. I hope they mange the place better because the place is soothing.

Rispetto a qualche anno fa mi e' sembrato meno curato, la piscina ad esempio sarebbe molto bella se fosse meglio tenuta e attrezzata (solo 4 lettini con materassini vecchi, non sempre danno gli asciugamani). L'accesso wifi e' farraginoso, c'e' un codice che cambia in continuazione. La colazione potrebbe essere piu' abbondante. Nel complesso c'e' quiete e le camere sono spaziose, la posizione e' buona perche' vicino al market del mercoledi' e la spiaggia di Anjuna si puo' raggiungere anche a piedi. Molti dei clienti in questo periodo sono famiglie indiane. Il ristorante non l'ho provato.

Die Zimmer, bzw Apartments sind ein Traum, super gross, toll eingerichtet. Der Pool liegt auch sehr schön unter den Bäumen. Leider war die Bedienung im Restaurant miserabel und ab dem 2. Tag wurde an unserem Häuschen das Dach ausgebessert was enormen Lärm verursachte und ausserdem fiel der ganze Dreck ins Zimmer und ins Bad, welche nicht mehr benutzt werden konnten danach. Wir hatten zum Glück noch die Ausweichmöglichkeit ins "Wohnzimmer", das allerdings ohne Deckenventilator und Mositonetz auch eine Herausforderung war. Schade, der Aufenthalt wär sonst einwandfrei gewesen.

The stay was ok, but there had not Bern any matanans on the hotel seens it was build, sad but true.

Laguna Anjuna is an average hotel. Its a 4 minute scooter drive from the beach where at times they have music blasting till 2 a.m. at some beach hotels, so the Laguna is nice because its away from the noise. This hotel is rustic and is not for all people. One thing I didn't like is that at times locals, (mainly expats) bring their kids over to the pool and it can get crowded. One afternoon, my wife wanted to jump in the pool but there was literally 35 locals in it, so we passed.

Friendly service

We stayed in Laguna Anjuna in the monsoon season and had a fabulous time. The staff were very helpful helping us rent scooter and even a taxi for a day. We went to the beaches which were very close by - not walkable, but with a scooter it was perfect.

We had a good time with our 2 kids. The pool is very nice for small kids. They have a baby pool and a nice sized adult pool. The location is nice and it is very naturesque. Things we didn't like : The breakfast is served at 8 am and that too is late sometimes. Some rooms were under a state of construction/repair. Overall we had a good time there but there is scope for improvement.

Amazing experience. Love to visit again. Different theme which creates perfect holiday mood. Clean an big swimming pool. Perfect place to relax.

Actually a nice property, unfortunately dilapidated. The staff at the reception is unfriendly, television looking is more important than service. The first word on arrival was "passport!". Empty beer bottles were stored in the flowerbed beside our entrance. Breakfast buffet very meagerly. On the breakfast table the cigarette cinder of the evening still lay while the staff hangs around. Very good kitchen and friendly security guy at the entrance. Eigentlich eine schöne Anlage, aber leider recht heruntergekommen. Das Personal an der Rezeption ist unfreundlich, fernsehschauen ist wichtiger als Service. Erstes Wort bei der Ankunft war "passport!". Leere Bierflaschen wurden im Blumenbeet neben unserem Eingang gelagert. Frühstücksbuffet sehr spärlich. Auf dem Frühstückstisch lag noch die Zigarettenasche vom Abend davor während das Personal vorm Internet rumlungerte. Sehr gutes Essen und netter Security-Mann am Eingang des Hotels.
